What makes you say that? It's still listed as opening February 14th
I don't know about the sky ride but I will say I have heard from numerous people that the weather has BGW running way behind schedule on several projects with some running close to two weeks behind. IF sky ride is one of them then March would get about right but again I don't have an exact list.

The weather is bad? There was snow a few days but like it's been a very standard winter so far. Probably cooler in the days than normal too.

They had several closed or late report days for employees do to the snow a few weeks ago that sounds over time when on tight schedules.

It was barely any snow. Ive seen coasters being built in the snow and heavy ice. Back when build it bigger came on tv they were blow torching the ground to get footers in on renegade lol. Virginia is so soft when it comes to snow it's insane

Virginia's infrastructure isn't designed for snow and Virginia's residents aren't used to or comfortable with snow. It has nothing to do with being "soft."
I mean most everyone is using all season tires. We get snow typically once or twice a year. Virginia has ALOT of northerns who have moved to here. I don't buy the residents arn't used to it. Now the infrastructure I have 0 idea on. Can't argue with that

Im suprised finnegans and battering ram are still running. When the world do they get broken down and maintenance done?

They can and do one side at a time on Finnegan that why you so often only see one side running. Battering is a fair quick and easy tear down under normal circumstances and gets done during closed periods.

Total culture shock when it hit SC. Leaving work 3 hours before we were supposed to get snow was crazy, in NJ they would’ve told me to suck it up and do my job.

A very welcome change though. Even if I’m comfortable driving in snow/ice, I’d absolutely rather not drive among people who aren’t.

I thought only 1 side runs on non weekends. Through Howl o scream and winterfest

No idea, that is why I checked the weather and deleted my post. I have no idea what the weather is on the ground, but with both Skyride and Pantheon closed it is possible they are seeing something that the Weather Channel isn’t.
FWIW, the Skyride has been down for quite sometime. I personally haven’t seen it run since Christmas Town iirc(?)

Awesome updates. I swear when I was in the park yesterday the whole place was in great shape. Seems staffing levels are much higher than last year. Nearly every dippin dots and storefronts were open.
I admit, there were more shops and stores open today than I've seen in a while. Lots of trainees, as well. Hoping this is a good sign and a positive trend.
