Will it come back as free? I imagine it will,
Currently BGW is the only one of their parks where the Skyride is free, so I honestly wouldn't be that surprised if they brought it back as an upcharge.

IF (and only if) that happens I could see it becoming a single station round trip ride like they've done for Christmas Town.

This is a daily inspection procedure. This usually occurs before the park opens, but in this instance it appears they had a late opening. Late openings for the Skyride usually end up seeing this happen while the park is open.

You seem more knowledgeable then me
On the topic but do they inspect every single cable support daily ? This would make it significantly more labor intensive then I ever would have imagined.

They do have to do this procedure daily. The first part of the procedure, as far as I currently know, is going to doing visual checks at each tower to ensure cables are still on the wheels. Then the process as we saw above is performed, where they manually jog the cable through and they check the wheels to make sure cable is still in and just to do routine maintenance as necessary. When doing this they also test all sensors in the stations and the trip out mechanisms. In addition they make sure the “jaws” or the clamp that grabs hold of the wire will release as intended.

I assumed there was a visual check of the cables cars and sensors daily, but the fact they are getting out and visually inspecting tower supports felt more like a less frequent occurrence weekly maybe, unfortunately guests don’t get to see and appreciate how much time and resources they dedicate to this, people would appreciate what some feel is a “basic service”
