I was JUST thinking the other day, with the discussion of KI Action Zone, they could go with a "spooky" theme in that corner so they don't have to touch Bat and Banshee. Two attractions which IMO already have excellent branding and just need a little cohesion to pop. I don't know that I would go with Halloween specifically, probably more witchcraft/occult or something Gothic, but I like the idea!
Figured it out.
Install AF1 in Thrill Zone. Retheme Thrill Zone as a dark, spooky, ghost area—not Halloween-themed—but like a little town widely regarded as some hub of paranormal activity.
A.R.I.E.Force is now the name of a cheesy paranormal investigations team working in the area—the
"Anomalous Reconnaissance, Interception & Extraction Force"—who thinks they're way more professional/important than they are. Queue snakes through their outdoor storage yard full of all sorts of nonsense ghost hunting equipment and then goes indoors to their office with documentation of previous missions (lower level of the AF1 station as seen at FSAA). The coaster's actual station is the ARIEForce garage with their ghost hunting vehicle, the
ARIEForce One. Riders arrive at the station, lights are flashing, alarms are going off, a
huge anomaly has been detected nearby. Guests board the
AF1 to go ghost hunting and encounter the craziest ghost imaginable.
Theme is cheap and easy to execute. If KI needs buy-in from the Aries, let members of the family be immortalized in the queue office as members of ARIEForce. A map can show ARIEForce's other current outposts in Orlando and Kissimmee, FL alongside their previous ones in Virginia Beach, VA, Myrtle Beach, SC, and Atlanta, GA. John Arie Jr. can even do a video transmission for the station where he gets to say his signature
"IT'S HUGE" regarding the reported anomaly.
To plus the concept more, keep the structure as-is, but repaint the rails—one side a neon green and the other a light amethyst purple. Would look incredibly ghastly.
