The Pantherian shirts say the top speed is 94mph, I haven’t seen the park advertise that speed since like opening year
They changed it to 90 when the park started advertising with a top speed of 90. Also, I know the park website said 94 mph last year.
I'm in general agreement regarding the 50th merch. However I do like the 50th celebration coin:
It's $29.99, which on its own is high. However using my '50% off one merchandise' Pass Perk for this month + Season Pass discount, it came to only $13.50 after tax. I bought mine at Plaza Gifts, just inside the front gate.
And best of all, now my CP 150th anniversary coin will have a "friend" to sit next to on the shelf:
From my understanding, the museum will be a walkthrough attraction debuting this summer. However, I am unsure if this will take place in this gift shop or elsewhere in the park.
I love the letterman jacket! I also hope to get the golden Eiffel Tower next time I visit the park. Otherwise, yeah I do have to agree the rest is pretty underwhelming thus far.
I really hope the park brings back some of the Singing Mushrooms merch that I missed out on during the 40th anniversary. I really want the stuffed animals in particular. The 40th anniversary merch seemed to be a lot more creative. (Somewhat related, if anyone is looking to sell or part with their Singing Mushrooms merch from that era, I’ll take you up on that offer!)
Speaking of the mushrooms, did y'all see that they added new songs? Here’s a video for those who haven’t seen it yet. I like the new songs A LOT!

Yes, the new Singing Mushroom songs are *amazing*. They improved the speakers they play from as well, they are super noticeable from a good distance now which is great!

Outside the new Kings Collection store on International Street, I noticed they now have a variety of park memorabilia on display:
And here in this one, I like the old Shock Wave and Berserker shirts:
So overall, a very nice display - where it's soo much better than miscellaneous Under Armour and other random merch they used to have on display here.
But I'm still hoping we get an actual mini museum, which I've seen at other CF parks celebrating their 50th; where I was absolutely blown away visiting the one that Worlds of Fun got for their recent 50th.

That's part of where I feel BGW got the 50th merch right. There are the usual t-shirts, keychains, magnets and pins, but they also have really nice specialty merch like the golden ticket and the Festhaus blueprint.
It would be really cool if KD could drop more specialty merch. All we have there is the Eiffel Tower statue.

I haven’t done one of these in a while, but here’s an event breakdown of A Golden Summerbration.
- It looks like the event is scheduled to start on May 24th instead of May 31st now. Better fix that park signage… I wonder what made them change that?
- For the 50 Years of Fun Street Party, they’re going to debut a new song called “Right Here! Right Now!” I love that KD is really focusing on details this summer with this and the mushrooms’ songs.
- August 3rd seems too early to end the event for me. I hope they consider pushing this date to later (maybe Labor Day?) if the event ends up becoming very popular. Maybe that’s why they haven’t announced ending dates for certain shows yet.
- The fact that Light the Night does not mention a drone show worries me, as I was hoping that we’d get KI’s drone show from their 50th anniversary. Hopefully they’re keeping this a surprise!
Around the perimeter of the Eiffel Tower, they've installed new projectors/lighting package for the Light the Night show on International Street, starting next weekend (on the May 24):
As they look to be pretty nice/expensive units, I'm excited for the show, as well as hopeful usage of these for years to come.

Tried to buy a Volcano shirt today and they said it was just for display. Too bad. Feel like those vintage shirts would sell well.
The official page for Light the Night mentions that the show will run "every 15 minutes beginning at 7:30 PM thru park close", so it doesn't appear that drones will be in the mix.
