I thought this deserved its own thread since this appears to be a permanent change, not just a temporary modification for the pandemic. According to the park's latest blog post, Kings Dominion is now officially a smoke-free park:
Now that the change is official, that brings KD in line with the other Cedar Fair parks that opened this year. Personally, I'm thrilled about the change, but I'm curious about how the general public will feel about the new rule.
Beginning December 5, 2020, smoking will only be permitted in the designated smoking area outside the park’s main entrance. Smoking will not be allowed anywhere inside Kings Dominion.
