Was at the park today and Twisted Timbers had hour long waits and most rides in Planet Snoopy were spilling out past their entrances. I guess CF management can read Farmers Almanac and do basic marketing to get guests in the gate.

They honestly need to start opening up more attractions if this level of guest volume is starting to come in as it will get busier as awareness grows of the park being open.

Timbers was listed as a 15 minute wait all day and I had a similar experience as you did. Anywhere between 40 mins to an hour wait. Single train ops 😢

Had a similar experience as well but would put out that Timber was the exception and was running one train ops Dominator was almost a walk on every time and Apple Zapple had a decent but rapidly moving line.

Apple Zapple we waited about 25-30 mins for. The rides in Planet Snoopy were all 10-15 mins, which is more akin to a busier day. Even Boo Blasters was a good 15-20 minute wait.

Compare that to a couple weeks ago, on another nice day, where most everything was walk on.

Holidays (in this case President's Day) that extend the weekend will bring the crowds out. I went to SFGAd one time on Sunday of Columbus Day weekend and they had 40K in the park by 2pm. Kingda Ka had a 3 hour wait and El Toro was at 2.5 all day.

So it's no surprise KD was pretty busy yesterday.

Finally got back out to the park this weekend after being really busy these past few months. I think a couple things really stood out to me—

1.) The park felt empty—and not in a fun way. Owing to the number of attractions/kiosks/shops not open, It had the vibes of one of those abandoned park YouTube videos more than a day out at the theme park.

2.) The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. This may be because of the ratio of staff to guests, and especially the guests being largely passholders familiar with the park. Nonetheless, I had some really nice conversations with employees while waiting for food or rides (I am one of those cursed extraverts), and it left me feeling more positive than negative overall.

I really hope it opens this season, but it's been closed this long so I don't know. Seems to be a very hard part to get.

Supply chain issues are still a thing all across the amusement industry. Just look at Falcon's Fury at BGT and Xcelerator at KBF - both Intamin rides.

Drop Tower will eventually reopen.

As far as Grizzly goes, I'm hearing it could be affected as well so folks shouldn't expect it to open anytime soon, at least not in the first half of this year's operating season.

Weather closer for tomorrow
