Wow. Any president who not only recognizes and appreciates the charm and character of the park, but also sets forth to preserve it, gets major points in my book.

The problem with Carl Lum is that he was one who changed way too much, way too fast; to the point where some, not all, of the things that changed and added ended up becoming a detriment than an improvement and the old world charm and DNA of the park suffered badly as a result of this. Of course when Lum left and David Cromwell came around, he knew the park very well and the majority of the additions that came afterwards (regardless of their quality) fit the park perfectly well where it didn't feel off (Marco Polo's Marketplace, All For One, Les Frites, InvadR). Now with Battle for Eire coming soon with it's VR technology and heavy Irish mythology theme, Kevin Lembke seems to understand the "Old Country Charm + Change and Innovate" idea that Cromwell left behind and if the interview is anything to go by, he will follow suit.
I raise my beer stein to Mr. Kevin Lembke, may his presidency be long and prosperous.

Based off of the debt projections, unless they make impactful and significant changes... like yesterday, they won't exist 2 to 3 years from now.

"like yesterday," is a turn of phrase. It means, "soonest, because it may be too late." The numbers coming out yesterday was coincidence. Speaking of which, I am still reading through them and checking on a few things. I want to plug some stuff back into my projections and see how the trend lines change.
They can start making those changes but it walkways takes time for them to be reflected in what we see.
If I had to guess an order:
Discressionary spending changes will happen first.
Then some Staffing changes.
Then changes we will as in the park itself.
I personally don’t think it’s so bad the BGW will ever be bad enough that it can’t be sold and maintained. Lake Compounce in Bristol CT had far worse times and still managed to do well visually. Ditto for Kennywood.

I don't know if this is the right place for this. For those wondering, David Cromwell has been named Senior Vice President, Operations for the Chicago Cubs. Here is his LinkedIn page. I don't know what his new job consists of, but his name is listed under Ballpark Operations on the Chicago Cub's official site.

I had the pleasure of speaking with him for a bit after today's media event. In my opinion, he seems very in-tune to the park and is actively doing what he can to preserve the "old country" feel of the park. He's very personable and a nice guy! He does come off very well and genuine in interviews (not that other park presidents don’t). He sets himself aside by being very in tune.

He’s saying he wants to do what he can to preserve the “old country” feel to the park. They’re floating a 3rd Williamsburg hate for Seseme Street. They’re floating around a project and bringing up an old hamlet rumor (I know that it started before he stepped into his post).
Maybe they aren’t getting rid of all kids rides, but rather the kids themed stuff that doesn’t fit, and reverting back a bit and trying to do away with the “moderization” of the park and going back to its roots.

He seemed to be very articulate and in tune with things during the interview that he did that was included in one of the BFE sneak peak videos.
He seems to be an articulate, smart, and nice guy from the videos I've seen. Maybe sometime in 2020 or 2021, the park will start to feel his touch on everything that wasn't done by our previous president.
