Something noteworthy of mention. When Jungle Market Eatery opened recently for the season, they added Coke Freestyle machines (on both sides of the restaurant).

Most parks have had these for years. But this of course is a first for KD.

Sometimes these machines can be very annoying when people are presented with the sheer multitude of options, and can't decide on a selection. And also when the restaurant fails to properly stock the machine. But I like how they installed these, where in the picture, note how they kept the old soda dispenser in the middle.

Otherwise for anyone planning to use the Coke stand that sits between Jungle Market and Outpost, I would actually recommend these instead (provided the line for Jungle Market is not too long), as at least here you get more variety... where on a personal note, I'm just excited to finally have Mello Yello back at the park 🙂 (which left when Chick-Fil-A left).

They actually are a lot simpler to stock then the old style ones. It's as easy as changing an ink cartridge.

On a personal note I am all for any place that adds more sugar free options especially Pib zero.

Pibb Xtra good. But Mr. Pibb way, way better. Petition to bring back Mr and drop Xtra.

Yeah that was the best AC in the park too, plus the best burgers and the park, plus I think one of two places with the coke freestyle machines
The best AC at KD restaurants has always been Outpost, it was even worth it sometimes as Outer Hanks. Not near as frigid as the shops near the front, or maybe the bathroom near WWC.

If one restaurant were to go it’d be this one, it was only open on weekends. This one and…Excavator’s Taters, which has disappeared from the map as well.

I noticed after this excavator’s taters and dogwood grill both are gone, Ive heard it may just be closed for the rest of this year but idk

This is currently the busiest section of the park with the most traffic and they closed two of the restaurants. One indoors with air conditioning from the hot Virginia heat. Simply genius.

This is definitely the most offensive thing about the Jungle Market Eatery removal for sure. Eliminating a second indoor restaurant is insane as it, once again, makes the park even less weather resistant—something the board would really like you to believe is severely impacting their business.
