It was released by a news outlet. It’s real.

Also this is like the 6th straight year GAdv has leaked a day before.

It does look pretty awesome. Not a t-rex nor dueling, but this will definitely be fantastic to have so close. And glad to see it will be longer and higher capacity, both from longer trains and a MCBR. First year lines are going to be brutal, though.

The layout is quite large for a Raptor, I wonder if this was intended to be a T-Rex during the design and concept stages and they decided to just roll with it as a Raptor? They would have been much better off capacity-wise to go the T-Rex route, but then again, SF doesn't really seem to care about capacity anymore. They could careless how long you stand in a line, more chances for them to sell FlashPass.

What was the very first CGI coaster tease ever to use the stormy sky / menacing brass and strings / huge all-caps / extreme zoom-cut / shakycam video style?

I know I was alive and sentient before it all started, and at first there were CGI teases that didn't use all that noise. but I can't recall which was the first one that did.

But as somebody pointed out on reddit, the zero car is just wrong. The jersey devil does not look like the christian devil. They really missed the mark, there. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jersey_Devil

I get why they went the way they did, but having the "actual" jersey devil head for the zero car would have been cool.

Six Flags isn't really known for their accurate visual depiction of things.

They already have a devil themed ride that they call a coaster, so who knows what they're thinking.

Inaccurate predictions aside, that coaster does look really cool. I’m glad RMC isn’t confining their Raptors to the smaller cookie-cutter model of Wonder Woman and Railblazer. I wonder what the capacity will be. Obviously it won’t be great, but with a longer train and MCBR, it’ll be interesting in how it compares to the smaller model.

Also, does SixFlags have to put the word "Coaster" at the end of every new "coaster" now? Do they think we do not know what is and isn't a coaster?
SF marketing seems to have decided their messaging, branding, and attraction names have to be absolutely as dead-simple as conceivably possible, like next-level dead-simple, for their assumed target audience. Hit 'em right in the face with it. I can't imagine why else they're doing some of the things they're doing.

Seems a bit demeaning, but they probably know a good bit more about their guests than I do, so... ?

I assume they've taken a page from Kennywood and tied into the NHL club. Either way, you can buy your own Devil's coasters on line...

I can't tell if the zero car is close to looking like the hockey team mascot...
