So this is the ride I rode yesterday where the crew seemed to have no training. A rider threw up, either while riding or immediately when they got back, maybe in the brake run, because it was all in the car. I used to work at KD, I have cleaned throw up out of a roller coaster before. This is a 15 minute process, max. This crew had no idea what to do. In fact they did nothing but open a cabinet and stare at the cleaning supplies before a woman in a leadership shirt finally walked up the station ramp. By herself this woman did her best to try and clean up while the crew just stood around staring at her, LOL. They actually had a hose in the station, never seen that before, but it wasn't connected to water or they didn't know how to use it, I'm guessing they literally didn't know how to turn the hose on. At this point I left the queue to go ride something else. If you are ever in that station or ride queue and you see or smell smoke, run. Because I know for a fact that don't know how to use the fire extinguisher.

This seems like one of those extreme situations that you don’t really talk about a ton.

I've worked at golf courses with similar. We trained for injuries, fights, etc on the course. But then we have a situation of someone getting a compound fracture trying to get a ball off a rock wall (did have a do not climb sign). No was for EMTs to get back there. General SOP would be to get them to the clubhouse.

They literally had to wait 15 minutes for us and the EMTs to collab on a solution. And that was after the 8ish minutes to get EMTs to the course.

It sucks, I’m sorry it happened to you, but some challenges are that even for well seasoned employees.

Edit:
I say this because I remember it happened at KD with Dominator one time - just much lesser. They cleaned all the seats hit really well then cycled that car 4-5 times cleaning it each time it came in.

I used to work there. It works. It’s easy to turn on. They just didn’t try. Fun fact, the seats also lift up on a hinge to 90° which makes cleaning easier.

Don’t want to derail the thread further but one time a person threw up on the train coming in the station and we were next to ride. Ops got the person off and hosed the entire train down with a soap solution and water. They cycled the train about 3-4 times to make sure it was dry and then put it back in service. Poor lady was in the third row when she got sick. I’d hate to be the people in the rows behind her…. 😳

Funny you mention this. Last time I was at the park (September 2025) we saw InvadR go down twice in one day for the same reason. Is this a common problem on InvadR? I don’t see it often on any of the other rides, maybe once on Pantheon.
