Knoebles broke the news on twitter. They are putting in a steel coaster in 2015.

Details:
the Zierer coaster will have a vertical chain lift.
It's maxim height is 98 feet.

Gerstlauer was already having a pretty bad last few months- they can't be happy to see what is basically a Eurofighter clone sold in the US.

Anyway, this is a big deal for Knoebels.

Impulse will cost $3 in tickets, Twister, Flying Turns and Phoenix will also have their prices raised to $3 per ride. I can't really remember the prices for the other rides but it seems everything has had a price update for the 2015 season.

The ride went vertical on February 3rd and it's almost complete. Those workers move fast!

Because it's an average coaster in a park with three legends.

Yeah, I like this thing more than any of the Eurofighters I've ridden, but it gets so lost in Knoebels' lineup and, frankly, just feels sorta... wrong...?

At most small to medium parks this thing would be a great little coaster. At this park though, I find it hard to love. Do find it baffling that more parks haven't taken Zierer up on this model though.

I loved the model and the ride was so great. There’s so many small parks that should have invested in one. Like Lake Compounce should have one of these over SRII.

I do agree it gets lost in the lineup though. Knoebles is just so much fun and I’m glad I got back.
