Basically just "business as usual for now, we're transferring everything to our point of sale system, and a combo ticket with our other regional properties will come." Hopefully we get more of these info drops in the days and weeks ahead. Communication with local communities can do a lot to calm fears as the transition really spins up.

Yeah but our passes aren’t gonna work anymore unless it’s Enchanted Park passes
Not until 2027 at the absolute earliest; you have almost an entire year. And though I'd consider it extremely unlikely, there's absolutely nothing stopping EnPark from entering into a contract with SFEC to allow each chain's passes to be valid at the other's parks.

I think it's overwhelming likely that 2026 will be the last year for Great Escape to be included in a Six Flags pass, but also, so what?

In the vast majority of the country, when people live relatively close to two parks, they've previously typically been owned by different corporations. Thoosies living in a metro area where they have to chose between two park passes or just buy both separately is really typical. What has been atypical is Six Flags' willingness to give away the gate at all of their parks chain-wide. At most, actually financially sound parks, you pay substantially more for that multi-park access. Six Flags' way of doing things has long had grave consequences for the financial health of the company and the individual parks themselves.

Also, I'd very happily pay a little more in order to have a competitive regional market. In the case of Great Escape vs New England, that is precisely what is occuring and, in my estimation, both parks are likely to benefit from that change.

In all fairness, this will be the first time I’ve ever used an all parks benefit (bare minimum, my KD trip last September, a Carowinds trip in August, and SFGAm at some point) and I’ve been a passholder of either SF or CF since 2011. Granted, I’d probably squeeze a couple Dorney trips in if I still lived in NJ, but I’d wager the all parks benefit goes unused for the vast majority of passholders.

Fully agreed that it’s completely inconsequential that SFEC passes will almost certainly not be valid at EPR parks after this year. If I’m not mistaken, the only 2 parks that are now separated that are within a reasonable distance of each other (for most) are Great Escape and SFNE.

I hate the 1998 logo. It looks ultra dated to me.

I think the current logo with the landscape and boomerang in the background is really strong. All they have to do is pull the small Six Flags text off of it and call it a day.

I do think bringing the Splashwater Kingdom branding back for the water park should happen though. Hurricane Harbor has to go and Splashwater Kingdom remains a really good name. Wouldn't mind it being adopted chain wide for the water parks that need rebranding, honestly (Splashwater Kingdom St. Louis, Splashwater Kingdom Galveston, and Splashwater Kingdom Shakopee). There's some good branding synergy between "Enchanted Parks" and "Splashwater Kingdom" since they both have a sorta fantasy flair.

Not to be THAT guy but isn’t the font of the present Great Escape logo like Six Flags?

Not really, it has a much more modern look and the Enchanted Parks logo may just be adding "by Enchanted Parks" after the Great Escape

Or the "An Enchanted Parks Theme Park" tagline like SF did
That would be a good place to use the "By Enchanted Parks" tagline.

Hey wait, Splashwater Island is a SF Copyright right? So they're gonna change the waterslide complex again, hopefully back to Paul Bunyan's Splash Brigade.. No offense but the bucket needs to get back
