Gosh i wish with the England area they got a lot of used clothes and splattered them with blood like paint and hung them !

I see they are going for a bit more of a red theme with this ripper Row, with the red lights and bloody banners and stuff. Ironic considering we basically have a blood themed scare zone in New France.

In other news, that witch prop is gas. First time in a long time the entry prop hasn't looked like garbage.

I’ve got a lot of thoughts here. First of all, I LOVE the witch at the entrance. Definitely the creepiest fountain replacement since the 2014 Cursed actor in the cage. Secondly, I’m a little sad about the new RR banners. They match the theme, so that’s good, but the phrases on the old banners were classic. “It’s scary what a smile can hide“ will always have a special place in my heart. I love the spiders and the new posters for Garden of Souls- it makes the terror-tory seem more like a haunted Venice Carnival (as it should). And a big thank you to everyone posting pictures and updates!

Well today came as a blessing in disguise. My buddy got sick, so I decided not to go to the park. However, we made plans for next Sunday and then I saw on the Calendar that Howl-O-Scream starts. Does this mean that mazes and scare zones will be in operation? Will it even be dark enough to take advantage of this? Does Bush Gardens do outdoor haunted attractions or are they indoor?

HOS starts at 6pm, so the mazes and scare zones will be operating by then. There are usually park-wide announcements, warning people. The event will run until 10 pm, and sundown is at 7:30ish.

There are both indoor and outdoor mazes. Circo and Witch of the Woods are outdoors.
