liquor license... thats why they couldn't do the booze cruise that they wanted on the rhine...

I'm surprised their liquor license won't cover more bars. I didn't realize their was a limit of how many bars they can operate.

I'll be in the park Friday and Saturday, possibly Sunday? Once again, I'll have on a Purple Rain shirt, and I love company!

Saturday, it looked like all they really needed to do was finish Wendigo Woods, then throw some scare actors in everywhere else. I'm getting really excited for Monster Stomp, thinking back to the costuming sketches I saw a few weeks ago, it's going to at least look amazing.

Will PK be doing another Howl-O-Scream vs. Halloween Haunt comparison? I loved last year's. I may look into doing one myself.

Anyone notice the sign advertising all of the SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment parks and a brief mention of Blackstone is now missing? It's odd i never noticed that before.

As for the video, it seemed fairly lame.

Can you clarify? Because I may be having a blonde moment, and have no idea what you're talking about?

There was a large sign by the entrance to the picnic area that had all the parks listed with the SeaWorld Park's and Entertainment logo and then briefly mentioned that SEAS was part of Blackstone's portfolio. Now it is gone. It was closest to the Festhaus, on the right hand side of the entrance to the picnic area.

From the Busch Garden's  Williamsburg blog:
Our favorite day of the week, Terror-story Tuesday, is here and today we share a tale that is very… grim indeed:
Once upon a time, there was a village of unspeakable evil. For years, inhuman creatures wreaked havoc on defenseless victims. Until one day, when the creatures mysteriously disappeared. Ever since then, the village has lain buried and forgotten. Accounts of the dark deeds perpetrated by the town’s blood-thirsty residents have faded into mere myths told around campfires to give listeners a thrill while still feeling secure in their own safety. After all, they’re just stories, right?
No longer to be ravaged by the cruel forces of time, the village has risen up through the earth and the undead have awakened from their eternal slumber to reclaim the night. Terror reigns in the dark alleyways and fog-shrouded streets where predators prowl looking for their next victims. Sharp white fangs gleam in the torchlight and the odor of blood lingers in the air, a promise of the fate that awaits any who venture into the darkness.
Many have been lured by forces they cannot explain to this cursed town, none have escaped unscathed. The first rays of dawn will bring an end to this dark nightmare, but somehow the night seems to stretch on and on without end. Weariness begins to set in- the frenzied heart can only keep up its adrenaline-fueled pace for so long- and a rest, just for a minute or two, sounds so appealing. Each blink becomes punctuated with long pauses, but in the intervening space, dark shapes can be seen circling closer and closer. Dark eyes watch intently for further signs of surrender.
Fangs extend in smiles filled with triumph. There will be a banquet of blood tonight.
And they all lived eternally cursed ever after. The end. Join us next Tuesday for our final tale of woe and experience the terror for yourself when Howl-O-Scream opens this Friday.
They are here in less then 72 hours.

Pointing out the huge communication problem here.  While I adore Blood Banquet, if I read that and saw that BB was an option, I would expect it to be very serious and dark.
They could make it work just by saying at the end "Thank you for coming everybody! But we forgot to read you the special, YOU!" Laughing the run out into the crowd and shows over.

If that is actually true, this is probably why. They are no longer majority share holder.

catacombs is finished....blood banquet is taking shape...the fences in front of globe are out... shock blue "guard towers" are up in new france(think shark week).... The wendigo tower is up. More work being done on the aluminum towers today.

They uploaded a commercial a few hours ago. And I can't stop laughing at how bad it is. omg.

Those people/creature-things aren't the least bit frightening. It's just so awkward. And the 'jump-scare' at the end, with the hands gently touching the guy's face. omg. I'm in tears.
