Unlike Nicole, I don't use QQ.

So brave!  I can't imagine a park visit with out QQs and/or a cabana.

I don't use either myself. There have been occasions where I wish I had, but we usually take several people with us who can't afford a BG trip and spring for their tickets. It would be too expensive to by QQs for 6 people.

In previous years, they have sold one time, one house quick queue for around $5 to $10 depending on the day near most of the houses. I usually buy them if a line is particularly long, that way I only pay for each one and not a whole bundle unless their all rather long lines. Usually I'd only have to worry about 13 or Root of All Evil when it comes to lines.

I just looked on BGs site and was shocked to see how much the cabanas are this year in comparison to last year and even the start of this season. I took a screen shot for anyone who was interested.

The issue with rainy days and Howl-O-Scream is heavy rain can prevent outdoor haunts (terror-tories and mazes) from opening.

That said, if you don't care for the spooky stuff then rainy days are awesome.

Remember they include 4 QQs, in addition to drinks, Lorikeet food, a locker, etc.

Yes, but it's still a lot more with the same things offered. But I guess they have to make money.

I do recall the Terror-Tories being ghost towns last year in the rain.

Sadly this. Less people in the park means less workers. Just the way it has to be.

Mildly offtopic, but Christmas Town is FANTASTIC with a light drizzle. While keeping people out, it also seemed to create a great atmosphere. Seriously one of the best visits i've ever had.

^YES!!! We went on a rainy day. Sure most rides were closed, but no one was there. Less than 500 for sure. No line for the penguins and we stopped in to see Santa. It was awesome!

I don't think I could handle CT in the wet. I am too cold as it is.

On Saturdays, I'd disagree completely. Check your math.

I'm not sure on Fridays on Sundays, because I don't know how much 8 bottled cokes cost.

For someone who doesn't like to pay a lot of money upfront, the price for cabanas is quite scary. I wouldn't mind paying for all those things individually because when you break it down, the prices aren't as scary.

But you also get a private place to relax and it really is the most peaceful part of the park. Even more peace then London Rocks! But now that we found out the horrifying spiders won't be attacking poor loggers where will they be this year?

I was talking about the price of the cabana itself, not individual prices. For example the cabana will cost $100.00 on Saturday the 6th but will cost by the 4th of October it's 179.99

Just did the math. If you're an active pass member, the Cabana's are only a reasonable deal the first three weekends of the event, when the pass member price for the cabanas is $134.99 and the cost for 4 QQ passes is $126.00. On weekends in October the pass member price for the cabanas is $161.99 and the cost of four QQ passes is $144.00. Still, I'm probably going to reserve one in September because of the convenience it offers of a locker, place to rest, etc.
