So in all honesty, I'm wondering if Pale-Blue Dude on the HOS main page and the photoshopped pics is our Mr. Wendigo 2k14. It seems like there are multiple pictured in one of the flickering slides of the video. I know we seem to have most of the details of what's going down this fall, but I'd like to see how they're going to suture the fine bits and pieces. This could be a phenomenal event, or just another mediocre year of failed expectations.

Oh. I kinda tied it all together in my mind with the whole WW being new and Amy Malone. I don't know why, exactly... It could've been the whole "I found these claw marks in the back of the park thing." Who knows.

I don't know what was so wrong about The Lady of the Gardens as a figurehead. It fit so well to what the park actually is.

From Pic 5, it looks like Demon DJ will be back..ugggg. I hope he plays something more sinister and scary this time instead of techno club music.

With Ripper Row, I was wondering if the lady with the fan will be back. She was great.

What is it with the park and turning fountains into stages? And wasn't the beauty of Blood Banquet that the actors weren't tied to a stage?

With any luck the fountain pool will return next season with a bunch of cracks in it, possibly mended by duct tape.

They better only use the stage for the finale, that's fine. But beyond that the show strives on direct crowd interaction, it can't do that if the performers are on the stage the whole time.

I still want Chef Juliet back.

It would be nice if they brought back the house webcams this year. They were sorely missed last year.

Just as a counterpoint, I'm glad they got rid of the webcams.

What's your reasoning Nicole? (Just curious) They're funny as hell and occasionally they can help with security questions.

Two reasons:

1. I hate being captured on film: Photos, videos? Loathe. Knowing that there are webcams and thus the possibility of countless strangers watching me makes me self-conscious and interferes with my ability to enjoy the houses. I may be unique in this regard, but I love Haunts, because I relax and allow myself to be startled and scared. If I am on my guard and feeling the need to come across as "cool," because I am anxious about being watched on camera, I am not able to do that and the houses just become museums with a bunch of actors in them. (Did that make any sense?)

2. Unlike many people, I do not enjoy watching other people's discomfort. It simply isn't amusing to me. I hate sitcoms for this reason. I like wit and sarcasm, not wacky hijinks and embarrassment. So, obviously, there is no appeal for me in watching other people's reactions to the houses.
