It's more common for people to have a latex allergy.

My point is just to use better visual aids than $5 masks. I'm sure theres a myriad of other accessories available to disfigure someone easily.
I know the price tag would be outrageous as opposed to the walmart masks they're currently using, but Spirit has some pretty neat masks.

There are two versions of this troll model. This is supposedly the version that does not stand. Other than the pirate patch to cover the broken eye, this is the most restored it has been in many years. Eyes moving, snoring, breathing movement, mouth movement, and this weekend it had the rocking and talking restored. The talking is motion triggered by a light sensor.

And at night...

For those interested, it seems the park has the "Giant Troll" versus the "Sleeping Troll". Oddly enough, the Giant Troll seems to be the more expensive of the two.

Another review from Trip Advisor from this year.

The haunted houses were pretty good, but mostly just the kind that jump out and try to scare you. After 3 times going to 3 different ones, it was kind of boring. If you are claustrophobic, don't go in the 13 haunted house. They have a section devoted to claustrophobia and it was scary. Luckily I went around it. There is a way to avoid that portion and rejoin the tour.

Um...so this person first complains about there being too many startle scares and then advises skipping the claustrophobia room, because it is scary?  So confused...

People just HAVE to complain, the fact that it contradicts their own previous opinions is irrelevant.

The scare actors on ripper row get a ghost design of makeup. The company who did the makeup designs also worked on Halloween Horror Nights.

Ifit was in the last five years then that explains the fugliness. This year is the first year in quite a few that HHN is worth a crap.

So Saturday night it took longer to get THROUGH 13 than it did to wait to get inside of it.

The work they do in movies is incredible. I just don't understand why they don't apply the same concept to events like Howl-o-Scream.

Because the A Team is busy in Florida.

I can understand the application being done poorly because the people who designed it aren't there to make it just right, but the initial design should be thought out and look much better than generic face paint.

It's also being done poorly, because most of the people working HoS have very little (if any) experience applying makeup. And I'm sure somebody else could clarify this for me, but I doubt they can take the makeup home to practice.

Generic is alright for beginners, which most of these people are. That being said, the makeup is still boring and fugly. BG really needs to invest in HoS to make it worth anything anymore. They need better makeup, which means makeup artists. Not to mention the entire rest of the event needs be improved upon immensely.
