Alright so I guess I'll throw out a topic train and see who bites...
Here are some possible topics:
  • Igor's Fright Feast - whose planning to be the brave soul to attempt it?
  • First house of the night?
  • To quick queue or not to quick queue?
  • Attempting to scare the scarers, whose tried it?

Okay so here's my answers to my own questions. :p
1. Not going to try Igor's (at least not on Friday). I got burned last year by Fright Feast's misleading description. If I go again with my boyfriend I might go to Igor's just to say I went.
2. Considering I'll be at Blood Banquet starting @ 4:30 and if I'm still milling around that area when the houses open I probably head over to Root of All Evil since I didn't get to last year.
3. I am doing quick queue this year only because it took me two trips last year to get through all but one house. And since I'm in grad school this semester I don't know if i'll get to go again :-/
4. I commented on this one earlier.

I might do Fright Feast. But, not before anybody else does it. I need a full review to see if it's worth it or not.

I almost always start with 13. Just to get that awful house out of the way. Plus that line is awful. though last year the two times I went that I had to wait in line, it was only a 30 minute wait which was really weird. But, I'm not complaining.

I'm too poor for quick queues, so with very careful planning I make my way through all the shows and all the houses. (I don't usually do the buffets.)

Why would I do that? I don't see the point.

Don't do Root right after eating at Blood Banquet. I know it's tempting, but wait until it's dark out to do Root, as it's outside.

The amount of people who want to watch people suffer is alarming.

No, I'm going to give her support, huge difference. Plus I love bashing the shows I like every once in a while. I want Nicole's perspective.

Save Root and Cutback Cove for last.  Unless you want to do a "lights on" tour of them, that can be neat for seeing small details if that's your thing.

I did that last year with "Cutback Cove" (haha). The only thing I saw was the disorientation of the strobe lights that caused me to smack my shoulder into a support beam.

...I have really bad luck with walking into things like support beams...but that's a story for another time and a different thread...

As I've said, I definitely plan on doing Igor's Fright Feast. From what Zach had said, plus the description and food, I really hear things are changing a lot. Changing in the Fiends direction that is. Which I am hoping is pulled off well. if all else fails there is a mashed potato bar and pasta bar.

I haven't thought about houses yet, oddly. I still need to work on my game plan first I guess.

I will buy the $5 one time quick queues per each house that I feel I need it for. Usually only 13 and Root. I think the all in one Quick Queues are too expensive especially when you don't need QQ for each house. But I think the single QQs are much cheaper and better to work with.

Attempting to scare the scare performers is considered inappropriate behavior which can lead to getting removed from the park without refund and possibly banned, depending on how you are going about it and your actions. It's not cool unless the performer doesn't mind. They are the ones getting paid, not you. Would you clean the bathrooms during the summer for no pay? No because it's not your job.

Okay I didn't mean the last topic as a way of trying to piss off anyone. I meant like if they say "boo" do you say "boo" back. I meant it as share a moment in which you shared in a "scare" with a performer at the park. Yesh.

Sorry, I didn't mean to be ruthless about it. While I see you have good intentions, but bad things do happen. I was just reinforcing the fact that it shouldn't be done in a way that annoys them or potentially hurt them.

Of course not. I didn't mean anything like that. I'm all for the they don't touch you, you don't touch them rule of haunts. I was just saying in a "5 second friendship" type of way. Like when you go on Roman Rapids and have any awesome time with complete strangers.

I'm still all for a KD hazing if Nicole survives this. Karaoke Superstars seems right up her alley.
