The only thing I can think is that they're worried here, like in BGW, that the strong military influence in the community (we have MacDill Air Force Base) would be offended. But for BGT to make preemptive changes and then make a statement about it to local media only seems to make a large issue out of something that wasn't an issue to begin with.

I'm sorry our idiots in management in VA, had to have such an overreaching effect on BGT. Just when you thought they had too much power....

We probably could've gotten a New Show, Terror-Tory and House if the park didn't waste their money on Porno Nights. Heck, if the park didn't do that, who knows how many new things we could've gotten.

Matthew - Porno Nights? I really need to paying more attention to the BGW side of the forum. o_O

Star Spangled Nights, our Stereotypical American propaganda film of a summer event.

BGW used to get new stuff every year too. And I second PK's motion.

Bill: yes, you should check out the BGW events threads. We just finished up Porno Nights and now we are in the middle of Howl-O-Sex with its 50 Shades of Blue theme.

To try to get the conversation back to Tampa...

Bill, what are you doing at the Scream Cam experience? Also, let us know what happens in Tampa, when the Cursed song is played. We have some theories up here, but no conclusive answer.

Without giving too much away before it happens on Thursday, I've been invited to test out one of the two new haunted houses with that camera in my face.

It's not my favorite thing, to be honest. It's a very heavy and awkward piece of equipment, and shines a light right in your face, meaning it's tough to see out into the dark house ahead of you. But it's a popular thing down here, so it's sort of a necessary thing to do. My hope is not to giggle through it like last year, but that's apparently my response to the situation.

I'm interested to see what they do with the entrance (not a) scare zone. It's been explained the area will be filled with vintage looking radios and televisions playing the song, and of course scare actors "welcoming" us.
