The clowns were the BEST scarezone in my opinion. The chainsaw guys were a close second. I have horrid memories of the chainsaws, so many surrounding me, trapping me between buildings. Now excuse me as I go and try to get rid of that memory.

Don't forget the wolves! I would say it would go, (this is 2011) wolves, clowns, scarecrows, chainsaws, stitching time. Nothing beats the people disguised as the walls in the wolves zone.

Wait - major changes in how the park approaches path scares...Does this mean that by Aquitaine "going to Hell" the park is going to give hamlets new themes? As if to throw out the French Theme completely for the event and then "semi" have it back for Christmas Town?

Yep- my post has a dual meaning to it. Both are true. It all goes back to the whole looking back to see what's coming deal. Christmas Town 2012's big addition was the start of a trend- a very, very interesting and ambitious trend.

Holiday Hills - A seasonal complete overlay. So France is next...? Sounds interesting, though I don't want them abandoning the entire Euro-theme during the event. Still extremely interesting/exciting.
By ambitious I take it that past themes limited them - now the possibilities are endless.
Hell, now that I think of it, the idea isn't new at all. Rhinefeld was transformed into the North Pole way back in '09. Almost seems inevitable that this would happen. Surprised I didn't see it coming til now...Duh

I doubt you would ever see the park change the name of an attraction. It would confuse people way too much and would honestly hurt the Griffon brand.

I can't see them changing *major* attractions names. They have changed Tradewinds, Turkish Delight, and Elephant Run's names for CT last year.

Aquitaine is "goin' to hell" [for Howl-O-Scream].
Aquitaine is going to [be] hell [for Howl-O-Scream].
If what I'm concluding is correct, the park isn't theming hamlets for its special events anymore, it's retheming hamlets.

Hamlets are getting complete makeovers, but I assume they are just doing it for France and England this year.
It has gotten to the point where attractions and shops will be renamed to match the theme. Similar to how Holiday Hills was set up.
It won't be France anymore; it will literally be Hell, listed on the park map just like that.
