How did Sleepless Hollow Manor compare to Bitten? I don't remember that one too well. Did any of it use the same set pieces?

I don't believe it used any of the same pieces (someone correct me if I'm wrong). But Sleepless Hollow Manor was a much better maze than Bitten IMO. The story was very well executed

I always thought the Nessie queue "as is" is kinda creepy already. Especially with the bubbles and strange noises. Add Nora's fog...SCARY! OOoooooooooooohhhh.

Curious: why would it be rated so highly if it were so bad?

I really couldn't answer that. It was bad looking, had major backup issues, and lacked any real theme but the GP ate it up.

I'll tell you why...It had the illusion of order. Paraphrasing the Joker here; "Stick to the plan. Even if the plan is something terrible. People know what to expect. If something changes, people start losing their minds!"

Why am I invoking The Dark Knight? Well aside from the fear of bats, 13 provided us with order. There were the wonderful signs indicating what was within the maze. They even had numbers assigned to them. And guess how many there were? You got it! 13!! Plus, 13 had an aMazing (pun intended) commercial to advertise it. Go see it for yourself. :p

I thought 13 was better last year than when it started back in 2011. I got a few good scares. Still not an excellent maze, but I'll do it if the line isn't too long. :p

HOUSES:

Catacombs in Aquitaine
Though it was originally on the chopping block for this year, it sounds as though Catacombs' replacement has been scrapped in favor of replacing Fear Fair. Don't look for anything new here.

Unknown Fear Fair Replacement in Festa Italia
We're unsure of a name or theme for Fear Fair's replacement, but construction has started so something will be taking its place.



PATH SCARES:

Not much is known about the plans for path scares for Howl-O-Scream 2013 but according to multiple trusted sources the hordes from last year will not be returning.

I checked the Howl-O-Scream website and everything is there from last year except Fear Fair. I guess we can pretty much say that the other houses are confirmed. [/i]

No, the website hasn't truly been updated yet- I'm waiting for that to happen before I call anything confirmed.

Will the maze replacing FF still have all the different tents? Because when I rode AC a couple weeks ago, I saw some tents. But I was unsure if it was scraps from FF, or if it was new
