RE: Howl-O-Scream 2013

So why would that be? You're saying last year they were not allowed to work HOS? That's weird.

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2013

Last year, Human Resources was very hesitant letting current TMs become scare actors due to staffing issues and such. There were a few they go through the system but most were rejected. This year Human Resources decided to just allow it.

For those who don't know the park's infrastructure, departments absolutely hate to share team members. They also hate to give up their team member to another department. This is why it is rare to see someone transfer from one department to another unless an issue arises.

Howl-O-Scream Scare Squad job fair this Saturday and next. What should a person expect going to this? They make it sound like it isn't an audition. What do you wear, professional clothes or normal? What documents do you need. etc.

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2013

You don't have to wear anything special.. Plain street clothes. It's info and an audition. They'll ask you to do some improv. Act like a horde of zombies etc. If you don't act like a log you'll get the part.

Here is a video from a couple years ago of the audtions. It's basically what ivybrit said. :)

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2013

Any other good tips when auditioning? What are the creatures that they ask[/align]?

I try calling HR about the HOS Job Fair and they haven' t answered all day.

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2013

I would just visit HR in person, in the many years I tried calling them, as well as other friends they hardly ever give a reply. If you can show up in person that'd probably be the best thing for you to do.

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2013

If this has been mentioned already I apologize, but is RoAE going to be in the same location?

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2013

Am I the only one that's noticed a slow but steady decline in quality of park decor? For example, before they thrashed and trashed Jack (I'm part of the demographic refusing to let go), they had all real pumpkins everywhere in Ireland, and hay bales. That gave it such a real "Harvest Festival" feel. Now they have cheap strung-up light up pumpkins. Scare zones used to be everywhere. Then, the "scare is Everywhere" theme hit... or rather, didn't, and that's when it started to falter. Just my opinion, cause I've been going to BG since before my 1st birthday. Eerie music, hanging ghosts, and real pumpkins are the quality I remember from the days when I was scared of HoS. Now it's cheap trash crows and fake toys with strange bubblegum pop in Germany.
But I've come up with a conspiracy theory. It's BlackStone. Black = Black Briar, and Stone = Treadstone.
It's a gov't coverup!!
