Secretly wishing for haunted polynesian island\head hunters theme but just wishful thinking im sure. Thanks to all for the updates. Haven't made it there as much as I had hoped for this year. Will make up for that soon.

So, we were at the park today and we decided to ride the train. I didn't have my camera out :)() so I have no pictures. I looked into where Fear Fair was, and they have A TON of junk laying around. Boxes, crows, buildings, old fear fair props, it was a mess. Then we went by where RoaE is. They left one of the gates open, so there was a clear view of the house. They finished one of the green houses, and are working on the other two. They brought in a lot of plants, mostly around the first green house. That is all I saw, so, yeah. :)

Anybody know when we can an update from the official site? From we've seen so far with the Italy bridge, you would think they would have something up on the pirate theme.

There is no gate into the Festhaus/DarKastle Parking Lot, they assume all guests would be facing forward and therefore not notice the glimpse of the area you get. This is the same with the Festa Maze Location, they assume you face forward and not notice the work being done behind you and the fence.

But Just a few things to add, RoAE is coming along quite quick. The three main greenhouses have been fully structurally built in place. They only really need to add the themeing and effects to those three greenhouse before they are complete.

Shacks, gardening shacks I suppose, are also set-up, along with some of the fencing which I expect will be done tonight. And only the majority of the larger plants have been put into place. Many of the smaller plants are nowhere to be found, however the tables on which the extremely small plants sit on have gone into place.

The park's main site is updated everyday.... You're using it right now.

Oh wait, you didn't know this is actually the site the park uses?

^ I was referring to the official HOS site. I go there 2-3 times/week. I have yet to see any updates since it first came online.

Oh, also, I saw a bunch of pirate themeing in "unknown" maze. :) There were draperies, torn cloths, crows (don't understand that.) they also had a couple of walls from fear fair still up/painted. I hope they take them down/paint over them. Also, from the top of Apollo, I saw that on a couple of the buildings there are posters that have the same background as the ones on the bridge that say "The Tides Are Rising." The posters had words on it, but I sadly left my binoculars at home. :p

Crows go along with pirates, they aren't super big, but they can play a part in theming. Remember the crow and Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean 2 I think?

A little bit of a backstage mini update. The backstage area has been very very very active sense Illuminights has ended. A lot of Howl o Scream preparations are going on. All the crates of props are out and ready to be put up. As said a large amount of construction has happened on Root the past few days as has with all of the other mazes. So the park should start looking different very shortly!

Also note the giant Grim Reaper we typically see is typically stored close to the brewery in the furthest of their property area. It has yet to be touched.

To elaborate on Chris's backstage update, behind the fence across from Pompeii next to Sesame Street, the troll sits awaiting return to his bridge, the cornstalk stands are sitting there as well, and the Dark Side of the Gardens light post is awaiting to be put in England by the entrance fountain. Root of All Evil has made the most visible progress, where as Catacombs is the only house not even started on yet due to concerts. I am sure all other houses have gotten their touch ups nicely. Back behind DaVinci's Gardens, the crates sit awaiting to be put on the park pathways, along with skeletons, rats, and rags that I assume will be used for either Festa decor or the pirate themed house.

With the end of Illuminights, I think we will have to wait for all Illuminights stuff to be taken down before we see any Howl-o-Scream stuff go up, but that shouldn't take too long. Killarney Kommotion has practically already been completely removed, I haven't seen it yet today but I heard last night they were working on removing the scaffolding. Lighting in Da Vincis Gardens was being removed the other night as well. Our giant bugs and critters are all now gone, the turtle appeared to make no impact on the shrubbery.

No work has been done on France, except the removal of the snail, but the Catacombs sign is sitting right behind the Royal Palace Theater and pumpkins are now sitting by the troll.

Also note that most of the smaller parts of Open Casket are laying in pieces just behind the games in Oktoberfest, to the side of Das Festhaus.

It looks as if everything might just pop out all at once?

This is sounding pretty cool! Just as a cool note, if you look at the 'Ripper Row' name, you'll see it's registered. It was actually filed by Busch Entertainment Corp in 2002. When going back in history, this was a BGT House in 2002.

Another thing to think about, sometimes Scott will hold back a piece of information to be announced at the Passholder Event. Is there any chance of that happening this year?
