We are going today and we found that if you go during the kiddy howl-o-scream it is not croweded because it's just families

Yesterday they were already into overflow parking before 11:30. Today probably won't be crowded because of the weather though. Have fun.

I think that they should add a statue scare like what they had a few years ago in England. Maybe have them be one of the catacombs statue that are around the park. It's a good scare and it works. Also, we are going to HoS tonight and weather channel is calling for rain but there is only like a 40% chance. It also said it was raining there now. Can someone tell me if it's raining down there? Thanks

I did. It said it was raining until 10 o'clock (coincidently). Let's hope it is just light rain.

I went last night. Got there at 5:00 and went in line for Griffon. The wait was 45min. So I went to Verbolten which was broke down when I got there.:dodgy: So then I decided to just go to Fear Fair which was actually amazing. Everyone was on there game. Even at 6:00. Then I went to deadline which was once again another amazing maze. After that I decided to walk around the park and see what was different. I went through Wild Reserve and noticed there were alot of people scaring guests. I went to 13 which was a 1hr 30min wait. So I said forget that and left and then went to Catacombs. The wait was 1hr. I then got bored and just left. But I enjoyed it last night more then last week when I went and did everything.:D

So, Root of all Evil. They seem to be gradually improving it week by week, but it's still a disaster. A new thing I liked the concept of was the second greenhouse had black light elements.

......Thinking about it now, it sounds kind of familiar......

The concept of the theme seems awesome, however execution of the theme leaves a lot to be desired. While it is kind of cool that they have real plants, by using fake plants they could have had the chance to make things look more sinister since you could paint the fake plants and have a cool black light effect like that in bolt, or blood or whatever. I can't help but think that the real plants they're using are dying in those conditions, it must be costing the park a fortune if they're replacing them all the time. Way to go green, BGW.

BGW, you can PM me for my contact info so you can send me my check.

We went yesterday and it was AMAZING! The haunted houses had no lines. Fear Fair, Bitten, Deadline, catacombs all had no wait. It was awesome. We saw the horde many times and they got us good. Those clowns in pompeii are really creepy because they all look the same. Over all, very amazing night.

I will say that the park is somewhat adequate at informing of capacity issues. I still think they can do more though.

Not trying to criticize or say your opinion is invalid, just truly curious. What more does everyone here think they can or should do to communicate capacity closures? It's on the website, facebook, and twitter. Messages were sent out VERY early. We may reach capacity, we WILL reach capacity, we have reached capacity... I'm truly at a loss as to how they could communicate better.

^I think there are plenty of channels of communication available via facebook, twitter, BG website or (GASP) 1-800 telephone number, etc. To me, going to the park is not much different then going to work. Check the traffic reports to determine best route or stay home. The information is there, available up-to-the-minute. But it is the responsibility of the people to look at it. Not sure what else could be or should be done.

BTW, I was at the park Friday night and Sunday night. I noticed that almost all of the roses on the big bridge from Italy to Germany had been ripped off between the times I was there. very sad :(
Wonder if this happened Saturday when it was probably slow-moving dense traffic on the paths.
This guy in particular will be missed:

This has been one of the park's strongest areas this HOS... but it's only useful if the potential guests are willing to use the information. Too many victims.

I can do you one better and show you the real one. But I'm at JMU and it's at home. I can scan it in Monday.

Do you happen to know/have the floor plans for any other houses? It'd be interesting to see them in the grand picture of things. Like how much space a house takes up compared to what it feels like. I know Deadline feels like it takes up a lot of space but doesn't. Same for Catacombs.

I believe I did get a small glance at Root of All Evil's at one point.

I only have Bitten's because I worked there last year.

Blue prints today?

Got caught up in Talledega and forgot to look for them. I'll try to remember next week. Maybe I'll just draw it up myself. I know Bitten in and out.
