Am I the only one who thinks the reversed words are completely pointless? They sound like gibberish to the average person and the likelihood of anyone actually playing the song backwards is, more or less, zero.

All I am saying is the reversed words is like extra theme decor. Sure the park doesn't need it, and more of the GP shrug it off, but it really makes things more complete?

Example: Pompeii, the theme that was there went by unnoticed by many a park guest. In fact, have you seen any of the GP do an outcry for bringing it back? Heck, I'm pretty sure Pompeii could look like a warehouse and people wouldn't mind (except us). It just is something your average person doesn't mind. But the whole point is with those one or two broken pots, it really added to the theme and supported the idea.
Well, same with the lyrics, they go unnoticed by practically everyone, but it really adds to the them of being dark and creepy and supports the idea of the event.

I can do you one better and show you the real one. But I'm at JMU and it's at home. I can scan it in Monday.

Do you happen to know/have the floor plans for any other houses? It'd be interesting to see them in the grand picture of things. Like how much space a house takes up compared to what it feels like. I know Deadline feels like it takes up a lot of space but doesn't. Same for Catacombs.

I believe I did get a small glance at Root of All Evil's at one point.

I only have Bitten's because I worked there last year.

Reversed lyrics are cool for sitting around in the dark with your buddies, burning candles and incense while trying to conjure up the dead (or freaking out some girls).

As long as you do not have a mask on. On opening night, some guy had a clown costume on in festa trying to join the other clowns in fear fair. 2 security gaurds escorted him out of the park :p

BG just made a second post on FB saying the park WILL reach capacity tonight, after one an hour ago saying they may reach capacity. It's nice to see them taking the initiative of warning everyone *before* the park reaches capacity.

They have hit capacity according to Facebook:

"UPDATE: Fan, we've reached our capacity (10.6) and will not be allowing any more cars through the toll booths. We're sorry for the inconvenience and hope to open back up as soon as we can. We will keep you posted as we have this afternoon. Stay tuned or call (800) 343-7946."

We went last Saturday and it was not busy at all. It was also raining lightly but it was not crowed. There was no line at fear fair and the longest line we waited in was RoAE which was only 35 mins. We are going tomorrow so I hope it's not crowded.

Haven't seen anyone mention them, so they might be new, but I saw new actors in the Wild Reserve today. They're ghost like people in all white suits with those snapping fan things. They're actually pretty effective and kinda creepy. I believe they're one of the little, permanent scare zones. Oh, and another bungee werewolf in New France.

Tonight was very crazy and capacity was reached as I predicted. I will say that the park is somewhat adequate at informing of capacity issues. I still think they can do more though. Yet, they do well enough as is. If you haven't already, I suggest reading comments on the posts ofBusch Gardens on Facebook. The people complaining the park needs to be open on week day, later, have pass holder days, etc. are just ridiculous and are making fools of themselves. They try to make sense when their logical is flawed.

Anyways, as far as as the actual event goes, it is the same as it has been. Not too great, but good enough to have some fun.

Out of curiosity, what is KD's capacity and how do they handle their Halloween event? I know this thread is for BGW's HOS but I want to compare the two and how each other stack up.

^ I've been reading the facebook comments. Just crazy. Some of the passholders think they should be treated more special than nonpassholders.

We are going today and we found that if you go during the kiddy howl-o-scream it is not croweded because it's just families and then it's fun to watch the park get more croweded, and more croweded and so on. Let's hope it works today.
