Okay, so I just looked at the pictures from the area of Harvest Hallow in great detail, and well I think it will kind of be like before in the "free-flowing" mode. However, I think you will pass through the sheds and buildings as you are traveling along. I think that this is the reason that it doesn't show up on the QQ pass. (I think someone said they didn't see it on the site or something) I am excited about all of HOS, and I think that Pompeii should be really good this year.

Also, did anyone get any pictures of the Cursed area and or Catacomb area? Also, I wonder what could be with the white tents behind the fence, I would think it must be covering something important, because they were placed behind a fence possible so the general public could not see what was under them?

This is kind of random, but has anyone else noticed that on the HOS website Griffons immelmen (or however you spell it) the train goes thrue backwords

Its probably not on the QQ because you only wait on a line to get into Bitten and after that you go into both Hunted and Harvest Hallow. I think the tents were just for backstage stuff during the concerts and probably break rooms for HoS Actors

I think its just an error. I don't think they'd send people on Griffon backwards xP

This is a good point, but I think it is just a mistake in the website, because there is no way that The Griffon could run backwards. At least I don't know of a way that it could.

Well i dont expect griffon backwords, but Griffon goes on the top of the immelmen than down which would be impossible for the ride to do, so its obviously an error

I dont think the the park even knows what Griffon looks like. They consistently use some asian copy for all the silhouettes they do. They need to fire every person that thinks that there is nothing wrong with the silhouettes or the flash animation.

the catacombs still look untouched, the cursed area as well. The white tents are part of the maze. If you look at some of the vids from last year, things will start to connect. Also, for the penguins, all of the walls were still the same, just covered with shiny happy colors( a very mature term I know). All that needs to go back is the walkway into the maze, and the loose props. a simple job that will only take a few hours.

to answer MMMU's question about the split hallway in catacombs, yes there was a split hall! you could go left or straight. me and a friend went in and once we got to that point, i was sent forward by an actor, and she went left. it led to a hallway that went left and out the same exit as if you turned left anyway, but the hallway i went down alone was FULL of actors and noises, it was hard to focus and walk straight :p but i think it was a great feature of catacombs, and i hope it is longer this year!

Go here for pictures from today.

Video on the way.

You got some great pics, but I did not see a pic of the giant reaper that was in an enclosed area just past what looked like an abandoned village seen from the train. Since I am new here and did not ever have the privilege of either riding or seeing BBW, I assume that this area is the old BBW station (am I right) Anyway, just as you pass that, on the other side of the tracks behind some fencing, it is hard not to see a giant Grim Reaper. I saw it too late to get a pic. Maybe you saw it too and it is in your vid. Thanks for all the pics. It is nice to see the changes. Since we will not be going again until Oct. 29th, I will be looking forward to what you will post as the changes take place. Since it is a 4 hour drive for us, about 1 time a month is gonna be it for now.

I got a pic of the reaper on Aug. 30th (it's buried somewhere in this thread), it was sitting back in a behind the scenes lot getting worked on. I saw it yesterday and there was nobody working on it, so it may just be sitting there ready to come out into the park.

The BBW station is still standing, but you can't see it from the train tracks.

Also, so everyone else knows, I didn't see any HOS props in the land the Big Bad Wolf was on, so it looks like HH will not be expanded into that area.

Can't wait to see the next set of pictures, though I am disappointed about HH.

Does anyone know anything about a Howl-O-Scream Behind the Scenes Tour? They are doing one at Busch Gardens Tampa.

I am so excited! Remember the black wall from Catacombs last year, that was visible from the outside. It was in the pictures from construction last year. I wonder if we will be seeing it return this year.

Yes there will be one. A couple pages back I posted a whole entry straight from the BGW website that stated what those tours would be. Hope that helped :D

Daring guests can get an exclusive inside look at Howl-O-Scream with three all-new terrorizing behind-the-scenes Howl-O-Scream tours: All-Access Insider, Eerie Insider and Monster Stomp Revamped Insider (AWESOME!!!!). All tours provide a behind-the-scenes look at the Halloween event with exclusive reserved seating and/or front-of-the-line access to the haunted houses.

There are no details on the howl-o-scream website though under tours. They only have quick queues at the moment. I'd like to know what the details asap so I can make some plans/reservations. :-/
