It's a mystery- like it should be.

Good news is that this thread isn't about LoveDoc, it's about Howl-O-Scream.

Lets talk about the site. What do you expect to see from it, what do you want from it?

My Wish? No More Flash.

To be honest, I think Busch Gardens entire website needs to be revamped. haha

I was asking them about their website and they said they are working on a new site that should be up in a year or year and a half. hopefully it will be able to be accessed by mobile phone this time.

I really need to think about not posting here for a while - seriously. I don't want to be the focus of these site, just sometimes help steer some conversations and have fun with the others like everybody else.

On a side note - if you want to talk about me when I'm "not here", at least make another thread for it somewhere (on another forum, perhaps?) It's kind of weird to come back here to all of that, ya know?

Let's keep it that way, please.

But that aside, all the SeaWorld parks will have a new website infrastructure by Fall of 2011. Work with the company creating all the coding for it has started way back in the start of this year with their tour of the park. (I think I mentioned that a few months ago) Flash will be a big part of it, so you won't be escaping it.

And back on the original topic, the HoS website will (as usual) be Flash heavy and front-loaded. I could give you one specific reason why it's not up yet, but that would derail the thread even more so than it already has this morning apparently. You just have to be content with soon™. I keep saying it and will keep saying it. Just like the ChristmasTown website updates - soon™.

Trust me, what's on the HoS site will make you *all* happy in one way or another. I promise.

Why is BGE so behind? KD is on the ball, already posting teasers and construction tours for the fansites...

BGE on the other hand has less than one month, and there is not one official word on what's going on for Howl-o-Scream.

I have always felt Howl O Scream was inferior to the Haunt at KD... Dont get me wrong I still like it and appreciate the atmosphere they provide during the rest of the year, but KD can deliver scares like BGE can, but refuses to do... Now I've heard some things about this upcoming howl o scream. If they are true I hope BGE pulls it off nicely... I'd like not to be stuck in a line in the haunted houses, I'd not like for there to be more security then scare actors. I'd also like for the security to be more well hidden... I'd like for the scarezones to be composed of more props and more actors, not just 3 guys or so a zone... in the past there has been no fog... no special lighting. Scarezones need more.

Just like with how people are waiting on an announcement for this tower ride, people are getting way too antsy about HOS this year. Yes, Howl-O-Scream is great. Yes, the website is usually up by now. Yes, all of us are eagerly awaiting the news. But let's just relax and wait for it. This thread is for talking about HOS and speculating about the upcoming attractions. Not trying to get preachy here, I just think things are getting out of hand.

Well, people plan on what they are gonna do for their halloween festivities and there is absolutely no information about what's going on at a certain park, wtf do you do? I gotta plan ahead and need to know if im gonna waste a day and some cash going to busch this year...

Busch is pretty behind. Just saying...

I disagree bigtime on that one. The scarers ARE still people and can be harmed. The security in the mazes stay very busy with keeping rowdy people now. Coming from working another prestige haunted house in the hampton roads I can attest to that. We had BAD problems with people attacking the workers in there until security was in view. Having them IN sight lessens the chances of a scarer being harmed. It is nothing for one of us to get stuck in the face by some pretty big people. Security is on point and it in my opinion should remain that way!!!!!!!! Without scarers there is no maze.

I agree and disagree.. I dont want there to be so much security it takes away from then scares. But at the samem time there are a lot of crazy visitors who try to touvh the scarers back and its probably would get bad if there wasnt enough security.

Security should be there, at the entrances to know that they are being watched and hidden within the mazes.

I've been cold cocked by a DeeBow 6'4 dude when I caught him off guard before. That crap is no fun. I was out for ten minutes
