I think that even though it would be difficult, if they did a stop scene where in the maze, and watch some central scene like that? You know? Then after that group stopped and continued you let the next group in. I think that that could crack down on the back ups in the mazes?

Trust me Franco, if I could do this all day long and earn enough money for food, housing, gas, and internet service, I'd jump on it in a heartbeat.

Yeah, I can see the reason for coasterfan's idea, but I think the backups are created by trying to keep wait times down, but also try to make sure there's enough room for the actors to reset before the next group gets there. It's hard to account for the person or persons that stop in the middle of the maze and hold everyone up or one group being faster or slower than the group before or after.

I'm sure it's something that the park has tried to figure out how to do. There just may not be a way to accomplish extremely smooth operation and low wait times.

I think all of us can agree with this sentiment, Swift. I know I would certainly love it.

Then take all of our ideas and make it as awesome as it could/should be. For a park like Busch this stuff should be a piece of cake!

when i was looking at busch gardens youtube channel, i relized that they took out all of last years howloscream videos :(, anybody know the reason for it?

A lot of things seem fun until you actually have to do them, or deal with them, on a consistent basis. I love Auntie Anne's pretzels. I smell them, I have to eat fifty of them (or two or three). I buy a "bake at home" kit and man, I tell you, that's some hard work to get the dough right, the pretzels shaped and everything else.

Yes, planning events like this at, on the whole, extremely fun. But there's so much back-end stuff that people don't know about and/or understand that at times, just drags the fun down to negative numbers.

I actually had a whole entire summary of how something starts and continues to evolve through live status, but it became so large, mundane that I deleted it. Ahh - good times. Plus, it's not on-topic and I don't want people throwing rotten apples at me or something. ;)

Either way, you'll love HoS this year. If you don't, BGW will find out where you live and rip skin off your body and use it to make HoS even scarier for other people. (ooh - that was gruesome!)

How do I talk my dad into taking me to HOS? He's trying to take me to Kings Dominion Halloween Haunt because its closer, but from what I've heard HOS is better, so I want to go to HOS.

eh, i wouldnt say better... Halloween Haunt is by FAR scarier, HOS is more of the cool to look at less gory and more of like a hey look at the scenery while your here type event, they are both good in their respective ways...

If you honestly can't decide, use this helpful tiebreaker:

Busch Gardens owns Kings Dominion any day, so Busch wins :D

There were some years that have been a little better than others, but every year I am never disappointed with HOS. Even though they are waiting longer than normal to make the announcement, I know it will be good this year too.
