Yeah, that is either a point to point network connection, WiFi, or localized cellular. Based on the shape it looks more directional than a typical WiFi so I am betting it is point to point. Kind of small for microwave so it could be 802.11 point to point. They may not have a good way to get the WAN over to the building.

Regardless, puttig things infront of it would reduce the power so not a good idea.

Total shot in the dark here: There's a certain smell (not the stables/livestock smell, I know I set myself up for that one) in the Heatherdowns area, mostly near Loch Ness that I cannot seem to identify. Maybe it is the flora in the surrounding gardens? Anyone care to hazard a guess? I know that's not a lot to go on.

I know the smell you are referring to. To me it smells like oak trees, moss/lichen, and aged timbers. I think because it is so wooded, shaded, and keeps a lot of the moisture, that the smell is mostly moss/lichen.

I remember right about there in the park is a good place to get a whiff of the malted barley when the brewery next door mashes it in whenever they do. Never really thought about if this is the only location for some odd reason or just happened to be where I was.

Whatever you do don't try smelling the water they use from their spriker-systems in the lawns. It's condensation water from the brewery and hvac systems.

It's using an out-of-sight, otherwise vacant space to get rid of merch at massively discounted prices. If it were in some super visible spot or if it supplanted something else, I could see the issue, but as-is, it doesn't bother me.
