This show deserves its own thread, and I sure damn hope it comes back next year. One of the best productions Kings Dominion has ever put on display. Arguably the best Halloween show in the state this year. Moonmaxx and Kings Dominion did marvelously with this one.

I couldn’t agree more! The vocals were on point and the dancing was phenomenal! Some
Of the song selections were a bit odd (Bad a Romance), but the level of talent made me forget about that almost instantly! Definitely the best show Haunt has ever done.

The Blood Reign showings beforehand were also a nice little touch, and I really appreciated the effort that went into the storylines.

How is everyone feeling about the 2026 return of Heads Will Roll? Some of the song selections might not scream "Halloween" but I appreciate the effort to have something theatrical at the Bandstand.

I'm almost never a fan of the park's shows on the Bandstand, and Heads Will Roll still isn't for me, but to its credit, it did seem to be drawing a healthy crowd both times I visited Haunt this season. The biggest crowds I saw were for Skeleton Crew, though, where when I went to see it (after the show had already started) the area was so crowded with spectators that I had to settle for a view partially obstructed by trees. I really hope the park is seeing dividends from their investments in live entertainment this year and keeps it up.

Awful. A horrible, empty shell of what the show once was. It shouldn't even carry the same name. Moonmaxx needs to come back and do the parks shows again.

Skeleton Crew, on the other hand, was highly entertaining, as was Wake The Dead (though I think I prefer Cedar Point's version better).

Kings Dominion probably has the strongest of the four non-Cedar Point productions of Wake the Dead. They managed to bring a unique spin on the same script.

Not to completely derail the thread, but the minds behind MoonMaxx did come back to direct KD’s version of Wake The Dead this season (though I do not think the name MoonMaxx was used).
