[split] The Enchanted Laboratory of Nostramos the Magnificent (1986 to 2000)

Does anyone recall the name of the magic shop before it was Pot O' Gold?  One of the best themed shops in any park, IMO.

[This is tangential to the Laboratory, but technically not part of the show.  Apologies if this should be on another thread]

Wizard Works. Others before the buildings were reconfigured were likely King's Menagerie Toy Shop, Jester's Sport, The Room of Recollections and Illusions or Recollections and Shadow Room, and Frippery and Frillery. I'd have to check old maps to be sure.

Wizard Works, of course! How did I ever forget that? :)

Thanks so much!

I'm actually talking about the theming on the ride itself while it was in Hastings. For example, apparently they started with little to no theming, one time it had a Bayeux Tapestry replica (I think). Then, it gradually became themed to a medieval battle, which is pictured somewhere on this site.

How did they convert it to the theater that exists there today? I have heard some say that it was originally a flat building inside. Did guests enter straight to the ride platform or were the stairs that lead to the back of the theater already there?
