All hours for Halloween Haunt have been added to the Park Hours page of the website.

The park will be open Friday nights from 7pm to 12am, Saturdays from 2pm to 12am, and Sundays from 2pm to 10pm. Other than the 2pm openings, these hours mostly reflect normal Haunt hours, which is spectacular news!

I never thought I’d see the day. KD is hiring monsters for $20 an hour this season!

For comparison purposes, BGW is hiring monsters for $15 with a $500 signing bonus.

Halloween Haunt 2021 additions have been announced!

New Maze: Grimm Woods - An all-new outdoor maze, takes you on a journey over the river and through the woods based on the tales of the Grimm brothers. Encounter Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf, Hansel and Gretel, the hungry witches of the woods and more.

New Scare Zone: Uprising – the undead have taken over Safari Village. Will their uprising be your downfall?

New Live Entertainment – Each night of Halloween Haunt will kick off with an opening scaremony featuring Majesty herself as she summons and casts hundreds of monsters out into the night. A total of four new shows will thrill guests with spine chilling music and dancing.

Well hadnt planned Haunt in this season but with pass prices so cheap for the rest of the year and all of 2022 looks like its now on the list. Will be interesting to see where I spend more time....Haunt or BGW HOS.....

So much for Grizzly night rides I guess. Is that typically how many mazes they have? I always felt like it was 7-8 but could be wrong. Only went to Haunt itself once.

They've kept at least 7 mazes open for years now. The two that are not open from 2019 are lockdown (and the yard scare zone which is also not running this year), and blackout. Both of those mazes aren't exactly that great anyways, so its not the absolute biggest loss in the lineup IMO.

So glad blackout seems to be gone. I was so absolutly uncomftorable in there, and i heard alot of people would grab butts ect because its dark. People would be pushing through in the dark cutting in the line going through it. It was just a awful expierence. I wonder how the world the actors worked in that

I’m very shocked that Tollway Terror seems to be missing from the lineup. Having a maze in the Blue Ridge Tollway location has been a Haunt staple for many, many years.

Kings Dominion has released a sneak peek of the fall decor that will be all over the park this season. But most importantly, there’s a couple pictures from the new Grimm Woods maze! The first picture looks like the inside of a witch’s cottage, and the second photo might be a gate or a cage of some sort.

The article says that there will be three fairy tale stories throughout Grimm Woods. We know for a fact that Hansel and Gretel and Little Red Riding Hood are featured, but any guesses on what the third story could be? I think that Snow White or Rumpelstiltskin would be good fits for this maze.

Also, KD mentioned that Cleaver Brother's carnival scare zone is getting at least one new set for the area. Not sure if this is a part of a complete refresh of CBC or adding on to what they already have.

At least in the areas of the park that are opening during Bonus Days, there isn't much of any Haunt progress to be seen around the park.

(Not a criticism of course, Haunt starts later than Howl-O-Scream and KD normally sets up their Halloween event a lot faster than BGW—just wanted to give everyone an update.)
