I don't know what you guys are going on about. It looks like Halloween Haunt is included with your season pass...

I got Kings Dominion passes this year mainly because I wanted to try their roller coasters and Halloween Haunt. I looked on the website and I found out that this year they are charging 32 dollars per person to get in! We lost our passes and we were about to buy more but now we aren't going to worry about it.

If you have passes for this year, they should include HH. IF you lost them, you should be able to get them to reprint them for you.

If you got the cheap pass (silver pass) then you can't go to haunt. If you lost your gold/platinum just go to guest services and pay like $15 to get it replaced.

Not sure where you guys can say "haunt" is a worthwhile event.

Let me give a good sum up of what happens...

To start off you will notice hords of middle schoolers acting immature and holding hands with their "girl friends." (They will get on your nerves before the horrible haunted houses will) The actors in most of the houses are soo bad and have no idea how to scare someone. KD doesn't use proper scare structuring which leads to being able to easily know where they are going to scare you. A plus on the other hand is their scare zones which are very well put together. The best actors were in The Doll Factory and Club Blood which also happened to be the best houses. Overall if you like a subpar event with good touches here and there than it may be for you.

I've built haunts before. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the "scare Structure". That's made up BS.

I've done plenty of home haunt building myself and they use very few distractions to get scares off. Made up BS that's funny.

Hey, I have a question. On the halloween haunt website it says that you have to pay to get in unless you have a 2013 season pass. My friend told me that he emailed Kings dominion to see if it's true. He said they replied saying that you can get in with a season pass. I want to know if you have to pay to get in even with a gold season pass?

I might be going this weekend. I will take lots of photos. They might not turn out good but I'm currently practicing for a future secret project of mine and some others. My camera doesn't do well at night from what I can tell, but I'm going try and work on it. But I will try and post a trip report if I do go this weekend. 50/50 chance.

try a little higher exposure? Not sure if I'll be going Saturday or not, if I do it's only for the coasters though (Not really a halloween person, never really liked it as a holiday).

That would be great thank you. And I wish I could help you, I know nothing about cameras. The best camera I've ever had is my phone :p

I went to Haunt yesterday and man was it dead. It was also raining in the morning so that had part but either way it was super dead. I will have a more detailed report in the next couple of days. But it was really fun. Some mazes weren't freaky but were really cool (No Vacancy). Expect something hopefully by the end of the week.
