I'm excited - I think it's a relatively underrated ride experience, really love the forces around the lower turnaround bend.

I hope that the airtime hill right after the slow turnaround stays the same because that is one of the best airtime moments ever on a coaster.

considering what re-tracking did to the drop on Racer, I am no overwhelmed by confidence in this venture.

Totally disagree. Racer rides smoother than I’ve felt it in my lifetime thanks to Gravity Group’s work. I miss the steepness of the old first drop, but that steepness was tearing the ride apart and contributing to its roughness. I’ll take a slightly shallower drop in order to preserve the long-term longevity of the ride’s smoothness any day of the week.

This is great news! An elevated Grizzly experience will be really nice for KD. Two different times last season I saw riders get off bleeding from the roughness.

Bring on smoother night rides!

The blood is important.

Without the blood, the D̵͖̙̻̀̓é̸̗ͅe̸̫͆͜p̵͔̫̔ K̵͚̥͎̆͋̔ị̴͈̀n̵̞͔͑ģ̶̨͉͛—who lies asleep in his Dominion of pestilence—can no longer be sated.

All I will say is this: If Grizzly no longer draws the required sacrifice, do not go to Kings Dominion on a full moon. The blood will find its way to Ḩ̵̬̜͇̪̖̙̔́́̈́̽̀̂i̶̫͛̏͗͊̌́̚m̶̨̨͖͈͓̄̉͋.

It always does.

They saved Racer from destroying itself constantly.

There’s not much appetite within Cedar Fair right now for attractions with high maintenance costs—especially when they have relatively low ridership.

Definitely be thankful that it still exists. I’ll take a less exciting drop on a still operating coaster over a coaster going the way of the dinosaurs any day.

Hopefully they won't mess with the drop as it is mostly or entirely not a problem. The ride took on a vertical oscillation or I call it a "pogo" starting late Oct. 2018 which, in particular, took the front row from buttah-smooth to one of the worst rows. I can't remember where all of the worst spots were, but know some were later in the ride, namely the second "out" section after the tunnel. This is the problem; it may only get partially fixed due to the amount of track involved.
