Ultra Twister Megaton is officially being removed after 5 years SBNO. Oddly enough I was thinking about this one a few days ago as my brother and I had been talking about Grampus Jet at the same park, not surprising that it won’t reopen but still a shame to see one of the last 4 Ultra Twisters go. Really need to make a trip to visit my brother while Nagashima Spa Land and Rusutsu Resort still have theirs.
According to the press release (which I can’t seem to find), it’s being replaced by a hybrid coaster with wooden track and steel supports that will be 620m long.
