Just referencing that they are not relocating Jaguar, there would be no way in hell that would make any logical sense! Unless we’re going back to the days of the Six Flags ride rotation program… say a prayer that doesn’t happen ….
Still laughing at the fact Kings Island thought they were fucking special and then Six Flags sends it out to every single park.

Seeing all the options laid out, I feel like this survey is less about individual attractions that are actively being considered and more about trying to decide which direction to go at each individual park (assuming most of the proposals overlap across different parks). While some of the options match up with possible relocations, a fair number of them are variations on concepts from the last round of surveys or clearly inspired by experiences more associated with Disney and Universal than Six Flags. My read is that corporate really doesn't know what they're doing right now, so we should expect most capital over the next few years to be secondhand attractions or stock models that can be installed in a plug and play manner, then if the chain survives into the 2030s we might at that point be seeing a very different Six Flags than what we've grown accustomed to over the past couple decades.
Seeing all of the pictures, I don't even know what to do with most of these.
The ones I see potential in, broadly:
- The upgrades to the park. Great Adventure needs these all over. A lot is being done, but a whole lot more is needed.
- Totally ArieForce One: I'd prefer Wild One, but I'd take AF1 if we can fit it on the boardwalk.
- Updated live entertainment: Take what they did this year and put it up to 20.
- Acrobatic Show: Give us something to see in the theater or in the stunt arena.
- The Snoopy Area: Rebuild Jr Trhilseekers into Camp Snoopy and use it to mesh together Pine Barrens and Lakefront
- The animitronic dark ride: Not sure where it'd fit, but it would be cool.
- The Flying Theater: Finally re-use Right Stuff if we're not tearing it down.
- The tilt coaster: Would be cool to have.

Interesting that the drop tower wasn't featured on the survey this year. I can't remember what else was on the survey last year.
As I've read in this thread, it seems all parks got the same survey essentially... Because yea putting Flight Deck in would just be pointless at GADV.
Even more interested is some rides people assumed were on the chopping block from SFA and California seem to be in play. You would have thought they had all the rides from SFA already destined to go somewhere by now.
If I were a betting man GADV doesn't get AF1, and the other parks are Carowinds and Kings Island. Neither have an RMC hybrid, both look like they have ample land.
I guess the OP should clarify if those were all the options shown, or were there more. Like the B&M dive, which a totally six flags move would be to put in that snoozefest of a ride.

With how broad these surveys are, plus the fact that these surveys are all the exact same regardless of park, I have to imagine that these are more about gauging what categories of attractions guests want (i.e. do they want a dark ride, a rollercoaster, a new themed land, etc.), rather than these all being actual additions that they're considering for these parks like the surveys in the past have been.

There were also other parts of the survey comparing going to Great Adventure vs going to other attractions like zoos/aquariums, national/state parks, family fun centers, Disney/Universal parks, etc at various price points.

the more i think about it it would be funny if six flags is just gauging if the old six flags ride rotation program should return thats why rides like jaguar,railblazer patriot and flight deck is on the polls.
They ain’t relocating jaguar that’s just not happening………..
Being kind, I’d hope they have the analytics to be able to separate responses by home park or regional market. Sort of see “okay, everyone from the MM market really wants to see the observation deck reopened, but GAdv visitors value general park enhancements” even with all parks given the same survey.
Otherwise, I can’t make heads or tails of what any of this means. Obviously they don’t know where AF1 is going yet, but the other choices all paint a really strange picture of the chain’s direction. I’m just hoping GAdv *doesn’t* receive either relocation - this park was so hard to care about from 2010-2024, please just show we’re not the secondhand dumping grounds.
We absolutely are and there's no intention of changing that. Even the new builds are designed for other properties. If Great Adventure thoosies turn their noses up at AF1, I think it's pretty clear there wouldn't be a new-from-the-manufacturer thrill coaster for a while after the insane cost of slop spire. It's not like there are plans in the works that adding AF1 would displace, they clearly have no idea what the future of the park will be. Shoreline Pier was thrown together in months. I do think AF1 would help keep whatever "momentum" there is going for sure, and because it's pretty inversion-dense I don't think it's too too similar to El Toro. It's not my idea of a perfect attraction for the park, but I don't think a custom RMC for Great Adventure would come any time soon otherwise
I would break the survey out two ways, they are trying to gauge what each parks visitors want in terms of roller coaster, thrill rides, family ride, or park enhancements. Easiest way to run any business where guest satisfaction is a KPI is to make sure the bulk of the customers are getting what they want lol.

Fire Bird is 100% in tact I heard firebird wasn’t being relocated since it was getting pretty old and it has been relocated already I was thinking the floor-less coaster was patriot.
Probably is Patriot, so that wasn't the best example to use.
I just don’t think it’s a good fit for the park regardless. I’m not personally expecting anything more costly than a supertall drop tower until the mid 2030s for the park, but there’s still so much that could be done each year. AF1 is a great ride, but it’s another slow moving line and doesn’t do anything for the larger park lineup. Adding it in Jersey does end up pushing timelines back for stuff that does need to happen eventually, such as the two arenas and park land refreshes.
I’d be thrilled to have it so close by home, but a Kings Island or Carowinds or even Dorney could use it a hell of a lot more.
