Easy to miss, but in Coliwood’s 2026 updates video he briefly mentions that Great American Road Race won’t be returning this year, which may very well be the most predictable removal possible.

That does leave Slingshot as the sole upcharge ride in the park though, which is a bit odd.

Slingshot might be taken out in the next phase of the boardwalk renovation. Can't imagine it staying long term.
The Slingshot doesn’t take much space up anyway, or at least less than go-karts or sky coasters. It’s pretty harmless against the midway, all things considered.

I imagine if the simulator building is demolished, this comes with it.. but only when there’s a budget to put something in this space. Sounds like it may be on borrowed time until then.

I think this area would be *perfect* for a classic family woodie. Give it white paint and some Edison bulbs and it’ll look brilliant on the boardwalk.

I’ve been begging for a compact GCI or a GG family woodie in the upcharge/Right Stuff corner. Probably at the top of my wishlist for the park.
Can't wait to see people on social media complain about another ride they've never cared about being removed
Already saw someone equate this to Astroworld, which may very well be the greatest overreaction I’ve seen yet in this entire saga.

Ah the Astroworld comment, I saw that too lmao

We just have to accept that these people will never be happy no matter what the park does

I don't know if this is a hot take or not, but I hope a large part of the go-karts site is saved for entry area (specifically security infrastructure) expansion. For a park of Great Adventure's size, I've always found the security/ticketing/entry area to be absurdly small and, frankly, on busy days, I often feel like it feels sorta straight-up unsafe. Hell, considering the park has setup a temporary, second gate down in Golden Kingdom in the past, it seems like a pretty obvious admission that the current facilities aren't large enough to handle current crowds. Very roughly I'm thinking something like this:

I think the go-karts/slingshot/Right Stuff plot would be perfect for the station/brake run/helix of Wild One, with the lift/return crossing over the Boardwalk itself, and the rest of the layout stretching into the old GK/Ka plot, but that might just be me. :D

since wild one was built in a sea town before moving to six flags america, I think bringing wild one to the sea town theme area would make the most sense so you can have a Mardi Gras area at six flags america reunion and full circle for wild one

for the go karts, I expect that go kar track to become a fright fest maze until around 2027 or 2028 and remove it for whatever planned for the go kart track/the right stuff/dare devil dive/slingshot space
