I'm sure most of you have already seen this, but the park recently posted an update on their blog page. It includes some nifty interior concept art and their current progress on the project.

I'm super excited to try this place out, mostly food wise since I'm studying at a culinary school. From what I can tell, Chef Dennis has made some huge improvements from years past especially in logistics and communication between employees. I think they mostly hired him for his professionalism, since he has a huge attention to detail. I was in the park every night for Taste of the Season to help out my mom in Crafter's Village, and the food quality between the restaurants and tastings was always consistent. He was always hard at work even when I saw him backstage in the employee canteen, so I look forward to this being his next big spotlight.

Looks like they're doing some work!

I think grain in the name is also referencing the 21 beers/ciders on offer - this place is sounding more awesome than the initial announcements

Looks like a potential patio is in the works too? Between this and the parched pig I'm really starting to dig the amount of attention KD has been giving to ambient spaces to unwind within the park...plus the alcohol. On the topic of additional patio space, let's open the country kitchen deck year-round while we're at it.

Had to wait in a long line to try this, but wow what an improvement over normal KD fare, or frankly any amusement park food. The menu is similar to Roti, and execution was on point in terms of seasoning and doneness of both the meats and sides.

If this is the direction KD is going food wise, it will completely change my view of the park’s non-event food. Heck the biggest problem with Grain and Grill is it’s at this point by far the best place to get food with a dining plan and will likely continue to draw long lines.
