The chimichurri is one of my favorite things about G&G (along with the olive tapenade). Both are completely made in-house too. It makes me sad when I hear people decline the chimi — they don’t know what they’re missing.

I’m not sure how to link it, but if you go to KD’s Instagram story there’s a link to vote for G&G as Best Theme Park Restaurant. It absolutely deserves it so if you get a chance, vote!

KD has a couple other places that are as good as Grain & Grill, which says something on its own.

This place is going downhill. My visit on May 31st 2025 had some notable, not so great impressions:
  • The serving line was filthy. Outside of the dishes food was served from, the overall countertop was messy with spilled foods.
  • Flies were everywhere hovering over most of the hot food sections. Likely increased from the spillage everywhere on the serving line.
  • One person serving the side dishes ran out of the rice, and instead of pulling the new dish and scooping the existing leftover product into it, decided it was better to just scoop some new rice from the new dish on top of the existing rice. The thing that concerns me about this method is not only over freshness, but also over time and temperature control for safety (TCS). Theres likely little known knowledge publicly over if the hot plates on the serving line reach the needed temperature to keep the foods out of the temperature danger zone. This is not really an issue at places like grain and grill where they could turnover the food on the serving line multiple times a day, but its concerning when theres the same foods just being covered up instead of rotating correctly. Foods left in the temperature danger zone between 40 and 140 degrees have an increased risk of bacteria rapidly growing. I opted for cheesy potatoes as a side, as it was popular and likely turned over dishes more frequently.
  • The cheesy potatoes, while are okay as a substitute for the former au gratin potatoes, had potatoes were not fully cooked. It was not a good experience.
  • I tried to get the attention of a supervisor, but there was not one visible from the serving line. I requested to speak to a supervisor when at the register, and the employee said he cannot do that and dismissed my concern, telling me to leave as I could hold up the line!
Im currently writing out a comment on the "contact us" section of the KD website, hoping I can get a response.

Was about to post the same thing! I also tried the tri tip today and was blown away. Super tender meat, well seasoned, perfect char — one of the best meals I’ve had at any theme park anywhere. It’s even better (by a lot) than the steak they served at Grain & Grill during the restaurant’s first year, which I already thought set a high bar for theme park food.
