When was the last time Six Flags worked with Intamin? Happy to see them branching out with manufacturers like with B&M last year.

Great observation… I didn’t even realize how long it’d been.. the last Intamin coaster Six Flags got was El Toro in ‘06.. I’m guessing they may have gotten a flat ride from them since, but haven’t done the research yet

Six Flags purchased a Zac-Spin that opened at Six Flags Magic Mountain in 2011. Beside that, Six Flags installed Lex Luthor and Zumanjaro after, as well as the two ABC Rides (which is now owned by Intamin) Tourbillion a few years ago.

I figured it out, guys!

Weird that they would use meters instead of feet, but way too weird to be a coincidence.. on the Intamin website, they say the Ultra Surf model is 44m tall, 180m long. Hence 44180 amusement drive. Ultra Surf confirmed??

Six Flags Over Georgia has announced the three finalists in their naming contest. Unsurprisingly, they're all horrible.
  1. Aquaphobia
  2. Georgia Surfer
  3. Iron Splash: The Surf Coaster
You can vote for your favorite (or your least favorite if you like to watch the world burn like me) here:

Frankly, any park that abdicates their responsibility to name their own attractions deserves to be stuck with the likes of "Iron Splash: The Surf Coaster" if you ask me. It has my vote.
