Let's be honest here; they likely never cared - there was just never more than one adult in the park interested in riding the kiddie coaster at the same time before.

Yeah people are reading way to much into an off the cuff remark made by someone during a highly emotional time. Anyone that saw him walking around the last few days could see the emotion and stress on the man's face. He didn't think those comments out and that shouldn't be unexpected. I think he has been quite clear in his prepared comments that he expects it to be sold but wasn't going to make any decision for a while. Also he probably can't do so legally on his own if the bank still hold a significant amount of debt on it.I can only roll my eyes so far into the back of my head on this one:

Photos from Saturday night. It's an incredible ride and the gathering of enthusiast in the area for the last few days of operation was justvan incredible experience. The warm welcoming and joyful mood despite the long lines and the number of people that I saw watching out for complete strangers in the heat just demonstrates how special the enthusiast community really is. It was a blast to be there for a little chunk of that atmosphere.
