We are thinking of attending this year since we missed it last year.
It all looks exciting. :)
As far as the Wine Tastings go I just wanted to know if you can show up and pay to try the wines or if you have to already have it picked out and paid for before you even attend the park.

Owls R A Hoot you can start a wine tasting at any time if a Wine Ambassador is there. If someone is already doing aND you come in. You might want to wait to start yours. The only reason I suggest this is so you get all the Wine Ambassadorso attention. LoL!
I am a Wine Ambassador in France. ; D
P.s. the glass is awesome this year it has a black stem.

So, can someone explain to me why Spanish music is playing throughout all of San Marco, excluding the area around Il Teatro Di San Marco? Or why American Southwest music is playing throughout all of New France, except the area around the Canada booth and Trapper's. Other than those two, the music is consolidated pretty well with each booth. That just really stood out to me, and I thought I'd point it out.

As mentioned previously different hamlets only have so many sound channels and if one particular hamlet doesn't have many, the whole area will get the audio.

Honestly, it can't be hard to install a few speakers and a control board for each booth considering they do it for the Holiday Hills light show.

We tried a few dishes Friday and enjoyed everything other than the Steak au Poivre. With sides it would have been fine, but had too much pepper as a stand a lone for my taste. The Italian Bites tasted good, but was the most overpriced item I tried. France managed to deliver my favorite dish also in the Coq au Vin. The Chocolat de Noisette et de Banane Crêpe was my most anticipated tasting as evident by the pic. I ate half of it before remembering to take a photo. Ever since I was little I have sliced bananas in a bowl of cocoa pebbles and the chocolate Banana Crêpe is the exact same taste.

Well we are hoping to come up for the Festival this weekend but the weather is looking mighty iffy. Hopefully it will change for the better before the weekend rolls around again. We have been so excited to visit the Food and Wine Festival as it is going to be our first time. We don't want a wash out. :-/

I know (think?) that crepes and coffee is a permanent stand, but do they always have the chocolate banana crepe? Had one yesterday, and it is just a little piece of heaven. Thanks!

Here is a picture of it in Annie cafe

Yes, the crepes and coffee stand is a permanent stand. The Cordon Bleu and Nutella/Banana crepes are there year round.

With the calling of scattered storms Friday and Saturday would they stop the festival or continue it? We are still trying to figure out if we should attempt to go or not. :)

I hope it doesn't. I am planning to be there Sat-Sun, myself.

Wouldn't the F&WF follow the same rules as the rest of the park? The current forecast doesn’t look as if it would shut everything down, although things could close, if bad weather came through. I think that is what happened during that really violent storm last week.

We are planning on going into the park this Friday and Saturday and we have until Wednesday afternoon to cancel our reservations if we decide not to go.
Really wish that 40% would drop to 10% or 20%. But maybe since they are scattered and not isolated that might be a positive that the park wouldn't get hit. We can do the park in the rain (and have before in the past) I just don't want them to close it down or stop the Festival. I'm so ready for a wine tasting. haha!;-P

Weather Codes & Meanings

They should follow those. Being that most of the booths are considered to be shelter, they should be open until Red at the earliest. I personally think that they will probably stay open until Black tho.

I wouldn't be too worried about the weather when it comes to food or drinks, its rides you should really worry about. They tend to close before anything else does anyway.
