If anyone is curious, a copy of the lawsuit is attached. To me, it reads as a copy paste lawsuit that a clerk had to type up before going to lunch. If this proceeds to trial, the discovery process could be very interesting.
I have my doubts this will ever see a jury, as the cost of litigation is absurd, and they only want $118,225 plus employee and management training and a policy change. They are also asking for monetary damages to be paid to those impacted by the alleged discriminatory policy, but the goverment could not be bothered to list how they want this to be paid out or how they want damages to be assessed. Also, paragraph 3 of the prayer for relief only requests that United Parks complies with the ADA without listing demanded changes to policies to meet the governments definition of compliance - this most likely will be amended if the case goes to trail.
