Has anyone had a chance to get out to see the damage to vegetation at the Florida parks? Seaworld, Aquatica, Discovery Cove, Volcano Bay, and a few of the tropical themed resorts in particular come to mind. I know the water parks are all closed right now. This cold could have devastating impacts on the way these parks look.

It will be ok lmao

A lot of these plants, such as coconut palms, are tropical. One night at 25° F can kill them, at the very least they will look terrible until regrowing their crowns.
ITs just nature. Its not like FL hasnt had this happen. Its gonna ne nice there this week

Been weird in Orlando this week. Some nights were just above or just below freezing, but last night was 24F which is legitimately cold even by northeastern megalopolis standards.

I keep outdoor tropical plants during the mid-Atlantic summers, and some of them like hibiscus drop stone dead after just one freezing late-autumn night. Covering them helps but doesn't necessarily save them. I have no doubt Florida's more susceptible flora will grow back extremely quickly, because everything in Florida grows extremely quickly, but certain plants and beds will look ugly for a little while in the meantime.

Usually the large ice features at Disney parks are artificial...
