Queue is a massive improvement. Ride is better but weirdly transitions every few seconds. Will say that I’m happy they didn’t just use AI.

I experienced it on Saturday as all the dominos fell into place. The whole queue experience is a significant improvement, though the team members were very candid about the automation of the doors of bay 2 so that was an interesting experience to witness. I, too, find some of the transitions just odd. The images felt better and less blurry. I was disappointed at the reduction in animal presentation of the film. The lack of animals in the film was acceptable considering the animals as you exit the attraction.
I will say, as soon as I heard the snippet of the second preshow in that Coaster Studios video, my mental AI detector went off. “What awaits you today isn’t just a flight path — it’s a passage through a living system” feels like a super contrived and clunky statement for a human to write, and it’s got that “It’s not X, it’s Y” structure that AI loves. Hopefully I’m wrong though.
I can see that, but that sort of contrived inspirational language existed long before AI. The language felt appropriate for someone trying to get people hyped for the expedition.
