Amazing. Brilliant. New gold standard in theming achieved. Spared no expense. Scott Ross is the new John Hammond.

But actually though, how did they manage to make this less themed than the bare room that was there before?

I won’t ever understand spending so much money on an attraction in Orlando just for it to be so bad compared to the competition. No theming in the queue and bad ride reviews already. I just don’t get it. This isn’t going to boost attendance in an area so rich on excellent dark rides.

Friends I know that have ridden it basically have said it’s a snoozer.

I’ve been hearing mixed reviews. I’ve heard very minor issues that the screen is a little see through on some seats, but I’ve also heard that the movement is great. If you’re expecting anything action packed, instead of a ride through the arctic you’re setting yourself up for disappointment.

What reviews are you all seeing? Links? Anyone not on a media list/who has a history of good, reasonable takes?

Frankly, even if it's great, its non-existent marketing, horrendous debut timeline, and snoozefest of a concept will almost certainly be an insurmountable barrier to overcome. I just don't see how this thing doesn't flop.

It’s so confusing I have 2 separate videos ready lmao
Depending on how things go

Holy fucking shit. I'm actually cackling.

So let me get this straight. They duct taped the ride sign into place and then the "O" fell on a guest—all while people were waiting outside because the new ride at this supposedly flagship theme park failed to open on its opening day?! This is peak comedy gold. You can't write this stuff.

Welcome to the future of this shitty ass company

Obviously, the letter from the sign jumped off in protest of the mind-blowingly bad and redundant name.

Expedition: a journey or voyage undertaken by a group of people with a particular purpose, especially that of exploration, scientific research, or war

Odyssey: a long and eventful or adventurous journey or experience

They literally named it "Journey Journey." I plan to call it Journey².

Sounds like SEAS Redundancy Department of Redundancy came up with that name.
