Anyone else noticed that the paint on the pool bottom faded off super quick. The water now looks like it’s a tan color, obviously that’s just the surface at the bottom, but it makes it look like the water Is that color?

It’s been having issues maintaining the water level, and they’ve had to manually unlock the restraints. I was there Tuesday when they were trying to run three boats, but it went down multiple times, including once while I was in line.

I talked to maintenance, and apparently the water level affects the restraint lock/unlock system. If they have to manually unlock the restraints, they can only operate with one boat.

I’m sure someone else could provide more of the nerd info. Basically, whatever is filling the ride up with water isn’t keeping up.

We noticed on June 28th when we were in the park that both Pompeii and Griffon were not getting people as wet as usual. My sister thought it might be due to the drought.

At the park today. Pompeii is on one boat ops. I've never seen this before.
Probably because they rarely have two boats sitting back to back, but I’ve never thought about how amusing it is the way Pompeii’s boats just get parked right next to the load platform like that. Nothing wrong with it, I just feel like most boat rides and flumes usually have a boat staging area/corral/dock that’s a little more out of guest view. I love how conspicuous and simple Pompeii’s setup is.

If I remember correctly, the old boat's exterior texture was like a woodgrain, and they used to put a fabric cover over them to make them almost blend in like a crate.

Gotta make an example for the other boats so they don't get out of line!
