To me this picture screams Furry Convention... but maybe I watched that one episode of CSI too much.

I wasn't saying replace Fiends with this... just running it up till 6:00 pm to appease the Fiend Haters ( read complaining moms).

Watched the 12:30 showing today. Not crazy about it, but the kids in the audience loved it. Did like the new house facades and stage though

Roughly, what age group of kids do you think responded to it best?

Was sitting along the back wall so couldn't see everyone but the ones I saw clapping along probably less then 6. I think one thing that took away from certain parts was how many performers are on the stage at once.for three or four numbers the entire stage seemed filled with them. Maybe it's just me but it was a little hard to focus on it with so many performers taking up the entire stage crossing in front of each other. Did like how they use the new house facades to come in and out of the festhaus. Hopefully it's like sesame street 4-D and they bring back the festhaus dancers next year.

Was the archway & other additions up last weekend? I have a terrible memory.

Two more songs recognized: Red Riding Hood sings "Brave" from Idina Menzel's album I Stand, and there's a production number of "Consider Yourself" from the musical Oliver.

RE: Entwined: Tales of Good and Grimm (2012)

It seems to me like they are trying too hard to make sure people notice the new show. Everyone's knows there is a show in the Festhaus and most only go to see it because they eat; I just don't think the Festhaus is a good venue for a show of this caliber... the stage is in the wrong place and it is first and foremost and eatery. I feel this show really messes with the atmosphere that was once present here, it just doesn't fit. From the pics I've seen it just looks like a bunch of rejected high school mascots crammed on a small stage in the middle of a restaurant... It may grow on me after watching it a couple times (and I hope it does), but at the moment it looks to me like a total failure that the park will be forced to keep after putting so much money into it. I'm not saying the park should have kept This is Oktoberfest; it was starting to get really out dated, but I still think they should have gone with something to better ease the transition to a different genre instead of vomiting this rainbow mess of a show on us so suddenly.

Saw it today. Regardless of what you may think of it, this show will be a massive hit with families with small children. Every kid there looked like they were hypnotized. Plus the photo op deal is huge. A chance to get a picture with a performer in front of setting where you don't have to shell out $20-$30 bucks? Not a lot of those around the park.

Another (semi-related) question for this past weekends park-goers:

Was the oompah band performing by the pretzel/beer house?
