Just called back because I went “Peter HUH” the first time, that is indeed him.

Also, unrelated: I don't know if @Gavin is going to publicly post his findings or not, but he discovered something behind the scenes that, independently, has me pretty damn convinced that the Instagram account is real.

Feeling really confident with the list of parks the Instagram account followed again now.

I just don’t understand why they follow a Minecraft account that’s been called Enchanted Parks for years. Same with a couple random travel agents including one who calls herself Enchanted Parks

Major companies/powerful people never do stuff as a distraction from something that they don't want you to see...

Unbelievable. WoF/OoF, Valleyfair, Michigan's Adventure aren't super surprising. But Schlitterbahn, Great Escape, St. Louis is crazy to me. It seems every day my annual pass gets less and less valuable. Also, it'll be very interesting to see how the parks change. Hopefully parks like Michigan get investment under the new owners but I truly don't trust Enchanted Parks to operate things well compared to 6F (which is already a low bar)

I don’t trust Enchanted Parks for those parks either.. Like, Great Escape don’t need Enchanted Parks

Makes sense to see no interruptions in service for 2026. We'll have to wait for more word from EPR towards the end of the year how they plan to move forward in 2027 and beyond.

We've seen things like this happen before and it will likely happen again at some point. Feels like there are more positives than negatives coming out of this, though.
I sure hope so, I already feel horror and worried

Important to note, it is only the smaller Schlitterbahn Galveston being sold, not the much larger and more famous Schlitterbahn New Braunfels.
Change is scary.
