Someone has put up new video with GREAT (for it's age) on the ground Hastings footage. Not sure I've seen video down in there before?
That's definitely the first video I've ever seen of Hastings out on the paths. AMAZING find! It's also interesting to hear what sort of music they played in the area back in the day.

- That's an enclosed tent at 0:26, yes? I can't recall whether I ever went in there. Was that food service at the time?
- Big tree at 0:30... clearly was retained when the park was first developed. I'm obsessed with trees lately, yes. ("Lately?")
- Also at 0:30, looks like a Battlements sign. I enjoyed that shooting gallery every bit as much as (e.g.) the one at Magic Kingdom
Whatever Happened to the the animatronics used in the show I know that the IT animatronic was used as a prop for HOS train ride I would love to know what happened to them
Last year at Howl-O-Scream, Elixir was featured in one of the walk-throughs (I think "Nevermore"?) Guests sitting at a bar and control station (fittingly, in the former preshow area of the Laboratory) could activate Elixir remotely to scare guests in the walk-through.

Me too. The atmosphere/roaming character shows they had in 2021 were really great. I do hope the park considers bringing that back in the future.
I was visiting Christmas town for preview night and did Santa's fireside feast and when it was our turn to talk to him he asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I told him to look around and I said "Bring back the Labratoy"
I think putting the Enchanted Laboratory in the Globe Theater for the park's 50th anniversary, wouldn't be a bad idea. Though the stage would have to be redone and a lot of money was spent on its set and projections back in 2014; so while it's a long shot, I would be over the moon if it did happen.
Recently sent to me: pics of an Elixir plush! Looks like the park stopped using "The Old Country" by 1992, so it pre-dates that. Enjoy!
What if they turn it into a dining experience the food will be an upcharge but you can still watch the show for free the foods will be buffet style like fireside feast the animatronics will be added back as well as new props and new set elements to make the experience immersive using the same high-tech technology used in the original show with some new technology to amp up the experience and make it more modern this will not only make fans nostalgic but will introduce kids to how great of a show this was
